Whisky / Whiskey / Bourbon

Can't really go wrong at that price, and if you're a fan of Irish style whiskies you should grab a few more.

Not so much, but I do like bourbon so figured the casking might suit my tastes and if it's pish, then I'll mix it with coke and still enjoy it :)

I think I'll go back and grab the other bottle they had cheap and see what that is.

Spending £20 on liquor and then putting it in a decanter is not the same as throwing £100+ bottles of liquor around.

I usually buy something new, decant half the bottle in and that's my sippin' whisky sorted. Other half of the bottle normally hangs around for later side by side comparisons.

But I get what you're saying, will decant a bottle when I get back south..

My wife has sorted me out a treat for Christmas!

woodford is for the outlaws cabinet.
They are smashin back the G&T's and since I'm not driving, have other adults who can look after jnr, deserve to drink a shot or two of bourbon every night until we get the train back to london..

Might put my hibiki into the decanter, since it's bottle is decanter shaped..

I bet half this bottle ends up in coke tonight. Actually, no, I'm taking the American Oak one.

Other recents include Copper Dog, Laphraoig something Bulleit Rye so you can see the price point I'm drinking at.

Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition is surprisingly good for the £. Like regular Jameson but with a strange hint of creaminess. Satisfying enough to save the good stuff for another day.

I nearly took a punt on that, will look again in future.

Off too coop shortly if still open (time has shifted it feels) so may take on hippy recommends.

I only bought them coz they were cheap. I've not tasted either yet. Just bare/bear/baw/bar that in mind.
