Was the desk whisky at work once. Nice stuff. Quite gently peated

Had a nip of Jameson Crested Ten last night expecting it to be like any other Jameson ive had but was very pleasantly surprised. Really smooth with tons of flavour. Anyone know if the new 'Crested' version is the same?

Same stuff. New name. It's a blend of single malt and grain whisky.

Picked up a bottle of Nikka Blended to get me through Christmas. Let's hope it's as nice as the from the barrel.

Today's wee bottle in the advent calendar was Kavalan. Taiwanese, apparently.

Boring as fuck. Too boring to finish. If somebody had briefly dipped a tea bag in some nail varnish remover, it would taste better than this.

My first decent(?) bourbon

Enjoying it .. VERY different to the usual stuff I drink. Very smokey but in a very charcol-y way if that makes sense.

buy whiskey on amazon.
next day, whiskey arrives from amazon.

rinse, repeat etc.
