lady godiva= fiver or 5 pound though sometimes abbreviated to a 'godiva' or 'Lady'
a tenner = ten pounds
a score = 20 pounds
a pony = 25 punds
a nifty= 50 pounds
a ton= 100 pounds
a monkey = 500 pounds
a grand= 1000pounds

its just slang basiclly that has been passed on through the generation's and has intergrated in to the language

hence 'only fools and horses' line in the song

"put a pony in your pocket, i'll fetch the suitcase from the van"

all of these slang have derived from one reason or another

A I wish you luck, but this is a rarefied animal, and most of the folks here are not into road bikes. If I wanted to sell it I'd put in on British Cycling Classified Ads, or even Bike Forums. You'd get a wider audience. Just my 1/2 p.
