• Right . . .I am considering selling my road bike to raise funds for a holiday

It is a very rare (one of 50 or less I think) Holdsworth re -issue that I bought in June, from Holdsworth in Putney - I have done less than 100 miles on it, and it is currently being stored at my Parents, it has never been out in the wet, and is as new

Aluminium frame , 55 cm, very tight clearances with traditional geometry, Look carbon fork, carbon seat post, Titanium Charge Plug saddle, Cinelli Alter stem, with a full Campag Mirage groupset, and Campag Khamsin wheelset. The frames were built by Tifosi to Holdsworths spec.

It cost me £700 + the cost of the post, saddle and Stem - I am looking for £600, and am only really looking to sell if i can get that, as this is a bike that if I sell I will never be able to replace, but as I never use it I am really only holding on to it as I love looking at it! It is still under warranty, and I have all the original receipts etc.

The bike is not in London at the moment, but I can bring it back after Christmas.

  • £50, final offer.

  • 60 and not a penny more.

  • Alright, 60.01!

  • Make it 2cm bigger and I'll give you £65

  • I love this bike, but sadly about 5cm too small.

  • £70 and under no circumstances will I offer more.

  • £71 UK English Euro pounds.

  • $160 Australian Dollars

  • 75 quid, 4 cans of stella and a chicken kebab.

  • cant do 600 but can possibly stretch a monkey?

    huh?

  • monkey= 500 pound where i'm from in eastlondon dude lol but lovin the picture

  • i know that.

  • lol oh ok, you never know on this forum

  • seems to be teeming with monkeys and midgets thru and thru

  • monkey = £500?
    Explain please..

  • in the old days when we were more in conjunction with india, there notes used to have animals on them, it just so happened that 500 hundred rupees had a picture of a monkey on it, then cockney rhyme and slang stole that idea to confuse the police, cockney rhyme and slang was used to confuse the police and 'screws' from the prison system to disguise what they were talking about

  • there are many rhyme and slang used to day that are made up like 'pete tong' (wrong) to name one and there are more traditional ones like 'trouble and strife' (wife) it was just bollocks really and is only used to day through humour, trend or just what you was brought up with

  • I know of cockney r s.. but I couldn't for the life of me work out Monkey.

    Should've checked this:
