Yup. 71cm in the next 9 days in Val d'Isere I read. I'll be there in just over 2 weeks.
I then have to suffer being back at home for a whole 19 days before I go out to Austria for 4 more days skiing.

I think I've found the ultimate all season round jacket!
http://www.myairblaster.com/collections/winter/products/grumpy-jacket?c=Black#.VMkJ316sUhI
Been using mine for a while now and it's awesome, it's got just the right number/type of pockets as well as huge under arm vents you can open up it also has the option of just doing up the buttons/poppers and not the zipp on warmer days. These two are offset so you get the ventilation without snow coming in. It's perfectly reasonable to spend a whole snowy day with just the buttons (I did yesterday)
The outside of the jacket it quite hardwearing so it won't split open if you have to carry your board against it.
For me it's the perfect combination of long and slim, has pretty lengthy sleeves and two types of snow skirt. The hood is big enough to put over a helmet if you want to.
My experience with this jacket was so great that I'm considering getting air blaster pants too when my holdens wear out.
Here's how a large fits me as a slim 6'1

They're now sold as the dragon APX I think, don't know if that's what they were when I bought them.
Also a pretty perfect piece of kit imo but unfortunately yesterday when I was walking away from a lift a skier that was carrying his skis over his shoulder turned around, wacking me in face with them and putting a pretty big (and first) scratch on that lens.

well jell... but I'll be in Les Arcs on the 07/02. Wish I could go now. Patience!
still need a new board and bindings - old bindings are loose and creaky and the ratchets are gone. urgh - so much cash needed.

Actually quick question.
Salomon District 2015 bindings for £144
OR
K2 Cinch CTS bindings for £150
I've only ever had K2 Bindings, never had an issue but the Salomon District seems OK in that price range? Any opinions?

I'd rather the salomon over k2 because the k2 system is too complicated for me, I hit my my highbacks off rocks and rails way too much to have fancy mechanisms there. What brought you to those two?
I'd take union contact over both, they're in the same price category and similar stiffness to the salomon but IMO support a boot better, have a more solid ratchet design and look better.
That said I have only used older models of both and only had the salomons for a couple of ours in a dome.

Cheers dude, as usual it's price and availability. Leaning towards Salomons, although the Hologram might be better. I'd like something with loads of feel and good power transfer (carving and stuff). Will check out the unions. Typically have left it last minute, strapped on the board last night and realised my old bindings have had it. The straps wont even ratchet down properly.

I have some Rome 390 Boss I was going to sell if you're interested. Best cap-strap in the business and stiff aluminium plates for feel and transfer too...

Still running my Rome Targas. Damn fine bindings.

These are a large! If you can track some down, I'd highly recommend it.

Just layed down the fucking best powder run on my 155 jib stick, about 3 mins of no stopping, fresh tracks on the fucking piste!
Could not have been more fun, some powder buttering, so buzzed in the cable car on the way up. A full metre of snow expected in the next 36.

Damn, large too big. Thanks for the offer though - I'll have a look for some. Read a review that rated them highly, more for the 2014 onwards as they have fixed the complex adjustment.

Sorry to blast this thread with questions, but I'm thinking of getting this - I know it's hard to recommend stuff when you don't know my riding style but I'm thinking this-
http://www.absolute-snow.co.uk/V/Bataleon_OMNI_Hybrid_TBT_Camber_Snowboard_156cm_2014-(94723)
and
http://www.absolute-snow.co.uk/V/Rome_390_BOSS_Snowboard_Bindings_SM_Team_2015-(94692)
or
http://www.absolute-snow.co.uk/V/Union_CONTACT_Snowboard_Bindings_ML_Orange_2015-(77744)Time for new stuff - on a budget...
I'd say I'm an all mountain rider - like speed and clean turns and powder but also like mixing it through tight and twisty tree runs - park is last priority.

looks bargainous!
I really really like my unions, dunno much about those romes...

That will be a super rad setup, I'm sure you'll have fun on it and it should last ages.
You're right, there are some surprisingly massive side hits off some of the pistes, got in an accidental front flip after landing one. If we do get loads of snow I might just compeltely let loose tomorrow.
