It's Halford in Kingston, and you're surprise that this happen.

We get a lots of their shit in our shops at Walton that required a proper service to make it road worthy despite being a couple days old.

It sounds like you were lucky really. I read earlier that one chap is suing Halfords for a million pounds, after the bike they sold him snapped in half! His face was disfigured in the resulting accident.

I go to Halfords for their hand cleanser and bags of 10 cable end covers that contain more than 10 cable end covers.
I wouldn't in a million years go to get anything done, or to ask anything.

I just want to know the qualifications/experience you need to become a Halfords mechanic.
I just don't understand why someone would (for instance) be given a wheel to true, kind of get it true, but so it still has a slight wobble in it and then (even worse) leave two very loose spokes, and think to them selves, "thats a job well done".
Better yet the defective bike and the backwards fork.
