my bike is just lovely. i love it, and i love riding the thing.

but i only got the thing in the first place as a way to fill the void that relocating to a less skateable place needed to be filled.

Sainsburys Whitechapel looks good for an old man curb sesh. Few manny pads and diff size curbs. Dunno bout security tho? Oh, undercover too!

Just got back from the bowl in clissold park. Its good, albeit slightly over-run by little kids that were miles better than me. Dropping-in for the first time in five years was interesting. Just need to figure out how to 50-50 and not fall over coming down fakie.

Speaking of fakie, how the fuck do you do it? My balance just goes all fucked-up as soon as I go backwards. Also, turning left (backside) is impossible.

Are you goofy? Cause left regular is frontside, but people get confused cause your back is facing the floor etc...

Anyway, give us a shout if you're going to one of the East parks at some point. I'm dying to get back on the board!

I've dreamt lately that I started skateboarding again, and this past weekend at a friends house I tried endlessly to do an ollie flip, until I actually did it.
It's well over 10y I haven't done anything proper but would love to get a board asap. ....Or just keep getting fat, and drunk and to hell with it...

I'm regular... Meant to say frontside turning left is hard... As for fakie, I seem to have cracked it the other day by just persisting. I guess the same will happen with pumping round the bowl properly.

As for the East parks, will probably check them out soon. I just want to get to a certain level where its not embarrassing to skate with other people :)

Maybe this would be better in the spotted thread but I've noticed a few fixed/ss bikes parked up while their owners skate down Clissold park recently, anyone here?

I've got a spare board if anyone needs one for a session!
