  • He definetely fucked for sure (in the wallet that is)

You shouldve said earlier, me and harsheek went to a bike jumble today and came away with full of swag. There was tons of nice stuff there, including lots of campagnolo for 1/4 ebay prices.

  • share the wealth big fella.... what did you get exactly !

  • Shamim you are a dark horse.

what swag you got then? anything to sell... I still need a stem for some Cinellis dog!!!

I wasnt expecting it to be as good as it was, only took £20 with me and ended up borrowing another £50 off harsheek in separate "please sir, just a little more" goes.

I grabbed a couple nice 3T stems (one with you in mind), which I think Cinelli's might just squeeze into.

Nothing to interest you dan sorry! Seriously, I was expecting it to be rubbish and overpriced. I couldve spent another 6hours there but I was all out of cash and all out of time.

  • I really wanna go to a bike jumble. There's one in redditch at the end of the month I think.

  • how do you find out about these jumbles?

  • WANTED.

    A frame... 55 - 57cms anything!!!
Need it for a pub bike ennit... Dan. anything in yo Basement?

    I will pay yo.

    Word.

  • ive got an old Coventry Eagle frame in the cellar. Im not sure of the size. I'll get the tape measure out. Maybe even take a pic too.

    Do it mate... lemme know.

Hope your bike is still going strong, you managed to get a rear wheel?

  • got a 17t now. anyone got a 46t 135mm bcd (3/32") chainring?

  • aeronaught - got no frames i'm afraid. i'll keep an eye open

  • Coventry Eagles are nice old commuters/cruisers/touring bikes usually for 27" wheels.

I have one, understated but quite nice in an 'old man' kinda way. Dont kill it, they are quite rare.

Ive got a couple of options in the pipelines man. Im meeting Butty tomorrow at ideal to check out a rear wheel he's selling for his mate.

  • I need a good quality rear road hub, can be old can be new. Ideally with a cassette or freewheel included. Will take a complete wheel if needs be.

    Budget is modest though.

  • When is Sprocket Cycles open?
    Is it still in business?
I remember it was closed Monday and Tuesday, is that still right?
I cycle past there on my way home usually and it always seems closed!
    Its a great shop too.

  • Is anyone else going to go to the jumble in redditch and if so, can I have a lift? Otherwise it's gonna have to be the cross city line for Ben.

  • ps Sprocket cycles was open when we had thew alleycat in october(?)

  • Redditch bike jumble was sweeeet, spent about £85, way more than I was expecting to. Saw adrian from sprocket there, he tried to sell me some hubs. I didn't buy them. Didn't see anyone else although I left just after 11. Can't wait for the one in Erdington.

    Sharing all those same sentiments.

I think Adrian is making a stash.

You pick up anything nice? I was just confused at the one in worcester, if you have a build in mind & a shopping list of bits you need it would make it a lot easier.

  • Hmm I dunno about 'making a stash'. He was too skint to lend me £1,000 to go to ECMC the other day.

I told him I'd pay him on time every month over the next ten years but he was having none of it!

  • Ye man I was totally out of my depth, got a few nice things. I'll show you the best thing I got at CM.. ooooooooohh the anticipation

  • Was it any kind of carbon wheel? I saw a trispoke one there but didn't ask the price.

and that giant cadex frame! old school....
