I wouldn't use those fuckers again if they paid me.

What is it you need from them?

  • Are you going to sell the Kona now you have the Cannondale?
Might be in the market for a cheap big road bike soon...

Actually, when you say cheap, what do you mean 'cheap'?

  • I may sell my Sidi Dominators... size 46, used for about two months, totally clean and in great condition. Give me an offer I can't refuse.

  • £40

  • WANTED: a record player, would prefer either just a turntable with rca jack(s) or a complete deal with speakers. not looking for anything fancy. thanks.

  • Wanted - Cheap digital camera for ebay photos

  • £40

    lol

  • That's what they're going for on ebay

  • You'll be buying yours from there then?

  • Actually, when you say cheap, what do you mean 'cheap'?

er...super cheap at the mo, just bought a new mtb frame to build up so i'll be putting off getting a roadbike for a few months...

  • Ok, no worries! I'll keep it as a bad weather training bike for now.

  • Anyone in Birmingham got experience of Leader frames? Yay or nay?

  • I had one in Seattle, before i got the concept pista. I really like them, and if you've ridden a Dolan, you get a similar ride - due to the similarity in geometry.
Sorry, I'm not very technical in my explanation, but they are worth a look in my opinion!
If this is your first alu track frame - it'll feel a little "harsh", but stick with it...

  • It'll be my first 'track' frame full stop if i buy it!

  • Are you going to use it on the track?

  • No

  • I really, really wouldnt bother with an alu track frame on teh road unless you're loaded. stiff as fuck, not very useful other than as an actual track bike or a bicycle-shaped toy, no brake holes so no attaching brakes for freewheel use, and theres a risk of crackage after a few years as its built for smooth surfaces not rough as fuck brummie potholed streets.

  • Hmm this is interesting. Cheers for the advice Pastry. I'd be buying it as a complete build from a friend.. It's the V2 721TR frame.

  • I would agree with Pastry. I've been out on my Dolan for a few rides around the city, but its not too comfrotable in all honesty.
I have however - had an absolute blast on the track recently, being pushed towards the Kilo. I had a few sessions of standing sprints - where it was noticed that I can get up to top end speed quickly, and hold it, if not gradually increase in speed toward the end of the Kilo.
Its a real killer. I'm loving the idea of some gruelling time-trialling.
Anyhow, the Dolan is loving it.

  • on the other hand, if youre planning to ride track like pistaboy has been, then why not?

  • Just puttting this up here before it goes up on ebay.
