Anyone got a cheap whip to suit a 6' tall guy to sell? My brother needs a cheap bike to get him to work and back over the summer - Condition not too important as I can fix it up if needs be. Needs to be around the £50 mark, road, mtb, shopper whatever it only needs to do a few miles.

I have a couple of battered quill stems and a few seat posts you can pick through. A well used headset too, if you took it off one of my frames..

i'm also looking for a quill stem. after riding a bike with an appropriately sized stem i have realised that mine is ridiculous.

to echo my previous post with a few added details i'm after a quill stem with a 25.4mm clamp (i think) and would prefer a longer one (80mm+), if anyone has anything suitable lying about please let me know.

Ah, ok. I have a Charge Plug freestyler (small) but I doubt it's big enough. Even though it's the "small" it's still on the large side, but I'm only 5'6ish and it's about right for me.

Sorry just looked on the 'Charge Plug' site and scene they only give small medium large.... been out to measure my old bike and its 22" across the top frame rail. Guessing this is abit bigger than yours. How much would you want for it?

It's got a Surly wheelset and some Andel fluted cranks, and I fitted a longer bontrager stem (got the original somewhere). Other than that, relatively standard. The Saddle in the photo won't be on it, I'll put the original bucket back on (in great condition).
