I should keep it as a polo bike, but I don't play and I need the money to fund my bike habit ;)

If anyone is interested in scrap yard bikes I have a lead that may be useful. Guy I spoke to on Monday said come back Saturday and he will have a sort out and see what he has. 10 minutes ride from town. Eastside. Could be trash but might be some treasure there too. Did see a vintage bike , possibly 1930s Phillips, in a sad state and an old 10 speed. Other bikes were further back and difficult to get at apparently.
2 older guys in the scrap yard office were reminiscing about riding and falling off fixed in the olden days. PM for details if anyone fancies it. Not sure if I can go as the outlaws have threatened to visit although may get away with it as an excuse to escape for a bit.

I might be up for this. Looking at train times I can get to Redditch for a little before 10am. Quick ride from the station etc. I'd be going via New Street if anyone is thinking of going by train? (09:13 from New street).

Sweet, apparently it's hard to find though so was hoping to drive? Otherwise, I'm up for train but I'm on the lookout for a bike for a friend. Might have to try and ghost it back. I'll die.

Yeah, I'd be on the lookout for a frame too. I reckon I can strap stuff to my back/onto my panniers (taking my hybrid with rack/bags).
Trying to get my flat mate interested, and just posted in the Cov forum to see if I can get anyone else interested :)

OK, just arranged to meet Andy in B'ham New St at 9:30 to catch the train to Redditch at 9:43. I'll be getting to Brum for 9am, so I might make a quick trip up to Urban Coffee while I wait for Andy.

Oh, I just figured out it's 10am - 1pm... quite a short jumble so I guess earlier is better! Still aiming to be in Brum for 9, leaving New Street at 9:43 :) Give me a txt if you wake up in time ;)

Just got back from there, took £100, went to buy a lightweight frame, brake levers, wheelset and a saddle.
Came back with a High-ten heavy frame, cheap front wheel, seatpost, new tyre, and san marco rolls.
Only spent £40 tho.

Due to a change of Circumstances one has to move into a smaller flat and will lose my garage at the same time... I also have to pay the no doubt imense bill due at Mercian for my OLMO resteration, So some stuff has to go!
My old faithful Rock Mountain Elevation has gone to a new home today!First of all and quite sadly the black beauty!
A Dawes frame of undetermined age think 60s early 70s. Powder coated at Bournes, Brooks saddle, Omega Mach one's. Brand new Tyres, Headset, Bottom Bracket, Chain.
Front dynamo works rear needs a small repair to the wires.Peugeot frame, Just needs wheels and a saddle, Or convert to S/S?
Carlton Corsair Reynolds 531 Touring frame Had a few ideas for this but shes gotta go!
This is a friends bike, Its beautiful but he is the same height as me, And frankly it,s huge!
Lovely Lovely condition though, Nice lug work, Later drive train.Pair of tubeless alloy rims... Free or they are going in the skip!
Some more bits and pieces coming soon!
PM me if your interested!
Hmm, well still best to have two polo bikes, it's like having a string of polo ponies but cheaper ;)
