I really would love to but my bike has no chain, or rear sprocket or a brake lever. I hope to get something working soon however!!

What kind of ratios are you guys running by the way?

What sprocket and lever are you looking for?

There's a couple of chains on the classifieds... Although you can get a new one from Evans for £8 (they will probably try to sell you a £10-12 one though)

but a lot of people ride a normal road gear when they start playing...

If you like playing you'll want to gear down, but I wouldn't worry too much for your first few goes... There are even some who still ride much bigger gears than are on that list... I started playing on a 72 gear inch bike.

Except for Adam I think that's exactly the same line up as my first wests! Over a year ago :)

Unfortunately due to a rather epic library fail yesterday, i now have to spend tomorrow evening in the library rather than down hurly with you guys, but looking forward to wests becoming regular again (as it were..)
