• #3818
What was that Pipper?
Besides my name is Emmet, coincidently what would be written on the forehead of the golem to spell truth, while removing the E would spell death and bring the demise of the golum.
In Ireland the name came into usage after the death of a certain Robert Emmet, a protestant held in favour by the fenians for his failed attempt to overthrough British rule in Dublin and the speech that he made prior to execution that is held in high regard.
As for your reference to ants, that originated from the cornish name for an outsider, so it is understanding that you would not understand Pip, you are simply too domestic.

• #3819
anyone rocking over to newington tomorrow - I needz poloz
-
• #3820
Greasy, I think that's a bit rich, coming from a man who's name means a lover of horses.
Em on the other hand is admitting to being named after an eloquent failure?
My name when fully translated means "King Humble stupid son of rock"... Make of that what you will...
By the way pip you can't have lucius as I'm bagsieing that one... For twins how about Romulus and Remus? Or john and Edward? :)
-
• #3821
Romanticism > Louis.
-
• #3822
best of the west, what are you doing Downham or Newington?
-
• #3823
"best" is optimistic..south probs
-
• #3824
Realism > Romanticism > Louis xv.
I'm glad I read up about mr emmet, although he sounds a bit like Jade. Shit at what he did, but loved by the media...
Oh just read the bit before, know it's bit late but I don't have James number I'm afraid!
