  • Headtube angels....thats quite endearing in a primary school way...

  • I have the 08 Navy and love it. Have never ridden any other fixed so can't compare. My other bike is a geared Litespeed and it is getting less and less use!

    08 Navy high-five!

  • I like the Potenza and the Classico Pista.

The Potenza especially, will take away quite a few buyers from Fixie Inc I imagine.

The Tempo, is too Salsa Casserole (a la dropouts), the Lavoro just doesn't look serious in pink, the others are just too nondescript, even if possibly very good.

  • is it me or is the lacing on the red bikes rear wheel mental?

  • I think Condor has the best single-speed / fixed gear range of bikes in the world.

Below are the Paris Tour de France and the Paris Galiber.

  • That Galbier is just sooooo nice. They're completely ridiculously expensive though. 1300 or so of your English pounds.

Wait. Why did that sound sensible for a second?

  • come on, it's just silly, that Galiber. you couldn't ride it and keep a straight face

  • come on, it's just silly, that Galiber. you couldn't ride it and keep a straight face

    I'm with you on that!

  • That Galiber just looks flexy to me. Wouldn't trust it. The rest look delish tho

    it's £1500 actually.

  • How much better does it feel than the Langster? A bit? Lots? Worse?

It's almost my size so it fits better.
It's not yet run into the ground so it runs better.
It has a higher gearing so I ride it faster.
It has carbon post and my favourite saddle rather than alu + nasty saddle.
    It's a bit heavier.
All of this means the comparison is a bit daft.
It does feel very nice to ride but if I had a larger Langster with the same setup I'd not be disappointed at all.

  • well, it's steel compared to Alloy, so it's going to feel pretty different.

I'm usually thinking more about how fast I can get through that gap and less about the bike to be honest. I will say the Condor rides very nice and I'm happy to have it.
I just want to make sure this is taken in the context of this bike being setup much better for me than the Cuntster was.

  • are you gonna tape it to fuck like the cuntster? we could do a cuntdor sticker competition.

  • I would love to get hold of one of those Pista EOM framesets now that I have the normal Pista, just to compare.

  • are you gonna tape it to fuck like the cuntster? we could do a cuntdor sticker competition.

Probably not. I was thinking more along the lines of a single sticker swap (well, both sides). Way more subtle.. and yet in my own mind just as effective :D

Also because I like breaking stuff and general destruction.. the paint is really nice cond. on teh Condor.. so I wanna scratch shit out of it :)

  • I went to Condor today to pick up some cheap bar tape, decided to go downstair and saw this Condor Classico Pista;

    I fucking want!

  • Eeew.. that logo looks far better on the more modern looking track frame.

  • horiffic. and the zebra bike behind it...

at least they haven't put carbon forks on it....

  • I would love to get hold of one of those Pista EOM framesets now that I have the normal Pista, just to compare.

i very nearly brought one that was advertised on here a while back, would of swapped all my parts over to the eom and sold the ordinary pista, but was too slow to reply to the ad. nice frames and i guess they will not be making anything similar in the future, however brian rourke makes some real nice framesets in deda 16.5 so if you are that curious :-)

  • No, I'm not that curious.
It would be interesting to ride them both with basically the same setup though.

  • the thing about the classico pista, love the decals or not, is that it's not particularly good. SAT 14.5 cro-mo, 2.4kg for the frameset. that's 4130 weight.

and you can buy them in bikehut.

Thats the logo on my Lavoro, well out of place on that

it's the same tubeset as the bareknuckle i.e the cheaper round tubes rather than the diamond shaped used on the pista plus it's lugged and uses a steel fork. i don't think people buy them expecting them to be featherweight, i bet it rides nice though.
