Rarely?
Negged.
Awesome. So karmically speaking we are all square.
Here is a slightly less exciting photo with the EFI control unit hiding under the dash. On a swivelling ally bracket no less. A swivel eyed destroyer of worlds indeedy.

BTW the gear box service is in theory very easy. Unfortunately what the manuals neglect to mention is that there is a great big fucking cross member right beneath it and needs to be removed for the work. Evidently NOT something I'm willing to attempt.

I genuinely cannot wait to see what your mpg will be with the fury mate, not to mention tyre degradation... ;)

I reckon I've had mopeds with less power than the fuel pump.

Had a new 330d for the weekend. Very nice car to drive, i can totally see why people like them.

Damn quick cars, very comfortable in the back too.

Crummy picture, sorry. Aeromotive gear is hawt. And I am going to have working brakes. Marvellous.
you going to have enough vacuum for the brakes??
looking good though. got plenty of room under the bonnet to run a larger/taller single plane manifold.
in other news, i've gone to 52lb injectors (after maxing out 42's), tuning is all sorted, making bucket loads of torque. one step closer to 10.9x , just need to pick-up and pay for my diff.

Hope so - it's not a massively lumpy cam, otherwise will have to scrap the whole lot and fit manual brakes.
The single plane on it is a pretty handy little number. It'll support just over 700hp, (which I could probably squeeze out with a big solid roller) but more importantly had pads for the injectors and is low enough to allow a large filter without cutting a hole in the bonnet.
How much were your injectors?
....oh and that Vito is genius.

i'm a stranger to this thread, but.. I'd have thought the Porsche would've had a longer wheelbase? But a body swapped beetle looks great! Can't say the same for the a none estate Audi RS, it was their USP after all. -

Decided to get shot of the 5 and buy an MX5. Hoping it's still the right time to be buying a convertible.
-
• #8891
You sold the 5 already?
-
• #8892
No. It's going up for sale after an MOT.
-
• #8893
On that note, anyone got a friendly MOT tester...?

I used to go to a bloke in Archway who did nothing but hang off the seatbelts before driving round and performing a couple of emergency stops and then handing over a certificate.
I thought that was the norm for years...
