read during the week that kei cars like the above are been slowly banned in america due to the fact they'll get demolished in a crash by the huge pickup trucks americans drive around and are becoming unsafe for passengers
sad

I used one of these when I had a rounded bolt from a water pump I changed on my w123
Used a blow torch to heat up the stud that was left and popped this on when still red hot. Attached to a socked wrench it came straight out.

I've always wonder why all the disabled parents at our kids gymnastics class drive such expensive cars. Do Porsche/BMW/RR etc. have a disability discount scheme?
I get not all disabilities are visible, and SUVs are probably easier to get in/out of but still. There's pretty much nothing less than an Evoque parked in those spots.

No need? Think of all the bikes you can pick up with tha neat little honda. Also gravel bikes since it looks like sort of offroader nano truck

Finally got my own small car, quite painful finding one that was cared for, even this has some (hopefully only) paintwork issues. It's got stonechips on the engine cover, the odd mark but generally good. Idea is to keep costs down but will replace bent number plates, some whiter lamps and a few bits and pieces. I'm very keen on a roof basket...must resist...

I learned to drive in the Suzuki equivalent. The only vehicle where my 9 year feet could reach the pedals!
Edit to add.. L plates were on a SJ410 years later.

These are really easy to get in and out of. Both front and back.
Do kei cars make it to the US? Things like the autozam and the cappuccino.

1.3 Kudos.
Roof basket apparently would void the warranty insurance of the car.

I just thought the extra grunt would be handy on dual carriageways..
Seems to be lots of chat around the fact that the homologation docs state that roof load should be 0kg, although Thule did make specific roof bars for them at some at some time 🤔

Yeah this was on the market for a short period until I think they acknowledge this would void the insurance.
Got overtaken on the bike today by this Suzuki Hustler (different colour tho). Currently on holiday in Japan and there are so many cute little urban cars here that I've never seen or heard of.
