Just back from the Ring. Was the best time ever. Cheap SLK was a great companion.

The thing I hated about these is that the supercharged ones don't sound like they have supercharger.
Some times a little fun does the heart good.

Every owner seems to love them. The mini SUV that was so good they had to stop making them.

Indeed, there's quite a cult following around them. It was at the bottom end of the budget, offered most of the things we were after and drove nicely on test, everything else was either really pricey or had too many compromises. Just need to construct a fork mounted rack for the inside so we can take 2 bikes easily with one of the rear seats still useable.

I have a 2010 Yeti. I mistakenly joined the Yeti Owners Club online and the Skoda Yeti Owners Club on Facebook. Both of these clubs are quite hateful. I have only used them to ask for advice on a couple of things and both sites are full of self proclaimed experts who all give very different advice to the point where you can't trust any of it. I don't bother with either now.

What is the briskoda website like now? That used to be good for pre VW Skoda stuff. Never wandered in to the newer Skoda bit.

Car spots:
The nova was straight paneled and panel gaps were good no rust.

With a boot too! Not as bad as the monstrosity that was the Orion and Belmont.

Yasssss. Which one did you get?

Spent the week driving around the trossachs, dukes pass was a highlight, although my partner would disagree, those bends are vomit inducing. Also enjoyed the three loch forest track. The A4 is very fun to drive although I can't help but feel I'm driving the wrong car and the Audi tax is real. All this chat about outbacks, yetis etc has me thinking something like that would suit our family better.
Ideally I want something euro6/ULEZ, AWD, can handle single tracks and has decent boot space
Is the answer a yeti/outback? If so what engine/trim

nothing wrong with an Orion!

Orion has dated better, but I don't think the Nova saloon ever had any love. Renault 19 Chamade, now you're talking hatchbacks with boots.

2l Diesel 50,000 miles. Pre face lift model but nice and cheap.

A yeti with 50k miles for cheap, sounds good to me!
Get a bit blind to Porches but this really nicely spec’d Cayman GTS caught my eye, sometimes black wheels are the right choice
