  • @ veevee....I wonder if you would like cars if you needed a ambulance to save your life... Im sure..

    What are you talking about?!
All I said was I dislike cars and do not find them attractive, in the sense that I dont go "oooooh that's beautiful" and drool over a picture that is all.

And yes I would like to see less cars on the roads so that essentials like ambulances do not get held in traffic jams.

  • ^^^^ Im not sure why you and 1 other female forum member has decided to comment how the passion I show for cars in your opinion is unhealthy...OR why you are singling me out and dont address your unwanted opinion to any of the other members who have contributed to the thread......how can I not take that personally?

re-read your post.-quote) Bellezza you are very welcome to have a thread to discuss cars etc. but discussing cars with such passion on a bike forum is to me a little strange and out of place.

AGAIN.. for the 10th time... you dont like? dont read!!!!!!!!!

  • Can you share the link to your car forum?
What is there to complain about bikes? They keep you fit, they don't sit in traffic jams, they do not use petrol, they don't pay road taxes, etc.. :)

There you go, and i've even been so kind to link you straight to the Pedal Powered section, seeing as it's xmas and whatnot =P

ETA - And they also have this http://pistonheads.com/sales/index.asp?c=85

  • What are you talking about?!

having mentioned that, London have the fastest Ambulance respond in Europe, so I doubt that'd be a problem.

    ladies, ladies, please

when you says that, you just mean "don't forget the K-Y" don't you?

  • @VEEVEE if you are directing them personally at me, ill read them to defend myself, have you finished now? or would you like to actually contribute something substantially interesting to this thread??

    SMI !

  • ladies, ladies, please

hey, I didnt add my opinion about whats healthy or not to any forum member, its pick on bellezza week clearly , didnt u know?

  • or would you like to actually contribute something substantially interesting to this thread??

    nice find, especially this.

  • nice find, especially this.

Saw that, shirley it must be a lie, someone on a car site, who isn't completely blinkered?!

We all know car fans like that don't exist!

    =P

  • Speaking of car - does anyone remember this?

A Porsche/Volkswagen 914, cheap small and look like a lots of fun to drive, pity there's not many of them out there, small mid-engine roadster FTW.

    still prefer the beautiful 912 thought;

  • thank you Mmccarthy, I need a F430 fix... help me!

    my favourite comment so far;

Glad there's no 'real' damage done. Always amazes me when drivers say 'the bike came out of nowhere'. Like cyclists have the power of teleportation and use it to appear accross car bonnets.

  • Well that clearly didn't work, so here it is again:

It's the RSR iteration of the 993 GT3, basically a road legal version of their Clubsport racing cars.

I got overtaken by a couple at the 'ring, some serious machinery.

I was sure there was only the race version of this? GT1, GT2 and GT3... how much has it changed to allow it road legal?

  • Speaking of car - does anyone remember this?

    Porsche/Volkswagen 914,

ive never before seen 1 of these , other then the Carrera GT and the GT 1/2/3 I know little about Porsche's, were they prevalent in UK?

  • ^ WOW...

    1969–1976
118,978 produced...that's a fair whack and Ive never seen one in my travels

That's a 914/6, which has the 911 engine in it. That 912 is awesome. It's owned by a black chap in west London I do believe. Amazing patina. I hope it's never restored, just kept in running order.

  • me too, I simply love how it look, like those VW that people made it rustier on purpose that end up looking right on stunning.

  • [quote=Bellezza;428490]have you ever owned 1?

dad had 1 of these ( not his in pix) , know it? A Torpedo Tank Racer, from 1908, that was his oldest one

    Triple plate fork crown!
