I like a light interior, but given I’m likely to be getting off a mountain bike and into the car black leather seats are a good idea.

Not with my lockdown belly it doesn't.

What you did there, i see it.

ok new, but when they are 10+years old, it ends up looking like a camels scrotum

In photos the Skoda boots look pretty narrow. Are they?
-
• #58632
You're probably right.
Tesla on the way has white seats which could be a mistake but the interior is so much brighter, nicer to be in with those than with the black seats.

Isn't that best answered with the stats?
99% it's Merc > Passat > Superb > A6

My last car was a Skoda Superb sel 190bhp, they are massive both the boot and rear leg room.
Single mattresses go straight in with the seats down, I think you can get a 3m length of wood in going up to the windscreen.
The sloping rear is a pain particularly if you like to change your boots etc sitting on the edge of the boot protected from rain by the hatch.
A friend fell out with his landlord and had to do a midnight flit......not the first one we have done together. 20 years ago it was a borrowed van or a fleet of motorbikes, the Skoda took all his worldly possessions and we slid away in 145mph leather luxury.

Car update:
Velar sold for £45,073 with no effort on my part, other than getting is washed and taking some photos.
Contactless payment/collection happening next week.
Very happy with that outcome. -

I love how burr walnut is still de rigueur.
Yacht Interior Design is the one for me.
Vulgar is an understatment.

Yup.
Apparently the list it and sell it in one day (today). Only submitted photos yesterday.
Have to say, if this actually goes ahead as it seems to be, that it's a ridiculously easy process.

Yeah.
Tesla white is footballers teeth white though:
It's a three year lease so I guess it's not really my problem long term...

That looks very star trek. I like it!

It's so open and bright in comparison to the RR.
Looking forward to swapping.

Having spent the last 6 months driving a 20 year old Punto and recently upgraded to a 3 year old Yaris I'm enjoying the extra (I say extra, the Punto didn't even have a working radio) tech. Surprised to find safety stuff like cameras that scan speed signs on the Yaris, I wrongly assumed that was pretty high end.
I'd love auto-parking. I spent 20 years with my only driving being in places like the US so, up until recently, the last time I'd parallel parked was my driving test and I'm still not a fan of it.
Android Auto is really convenient on hire cars. No pissing around with trying to work out how their system works, just plug your phone in. Also a cable is easier to carry around than a phone cradle.

Nice spot, going west? Maybe heading to Castle Combe.
One of the few super duper cars i still like.

Nope East bound from J15>J14
Was staggered to see it on the road, let alone a day of far from perfect weather.
Did look incredible though whatever the weather

Tesla
Is this a version with indicators? Most around Leeds aren't

We had Skoda Superbes as Catford Banks Equipe team cars and they were brilliant, loads of room good performance and enough gadgets to be useful

The narrowest point between the wheel wells is a metre wide, which looking at other wagons is slightly narrower, but it is generally longer. With the seats up it's something like 660L
Not forgetting it lifts the soul.
