From the 1980's......based on a GT4O which made it into production as the GT. And not anything like that^ Keep up man.
From 1995 actually. Anyway, I digress, remember when 3-spoke wheels were all the rage? I had a mean set of Fiesta RS Turbo ones on my 1100cc Fiesta which was my first car.

Mine looked somewhat sorrier than that...
Still have a thing for 80s and 90s fast Fords, this was the closest I got, although it looked nice the engine was a dog. 1989 Escort XR3i with 1990 Spec RS Turbo body kit, bonnet and interior. Had some mild engine mods, but I guess they just accelerated it's demise rather than helping out.

Excellent apology post mate.
Quite surprised no one knew that that was an AM DP212, did no one watch GT Racer on channel 4 a few years back. They followed a Brit who had an original, one of the most spectacularly beautiful piece's of kit I've ever see. It has been on appearance at Goodwood the last 2 years.
Anyway on the topic of Aston's...
Alain De Cadenet once described this as his favourite car to drive. I think that was from a Victory by Design documentary, although I'm unable to find it, think it's been removed from youtube.

The last ime I was there, Anton Rupert's museum just outside Franschoek had (amongst a whole load of other mega exotica) 6 or 7 SSKs in a row. All perfect and gleaming.

I spoke with this guy when I was thinking about getting a '5. He sent me a whole bunch of development stage photos of the build. I'll try and find them and post a few up, really impressive work on the engine.

Any Idea how much the changes would be to fix? Its a 10 min bike ride from my house, and the insurance is cheap enough- add the 'ambulance' factor and for a med student- no brainer.

Ha, want! Interesting mileage. Would be nice to know whether the guy bought it direct from it's previous job or what. You'd expect it to have been very well looked after in the governments employ.
Would be an awesome uni car, but expect big bills to get her fully ordered I should think.

Well. About to go in for MOT, should be fine.
Valve in brake has gone, but Rangies have a backup braking system (amazing) so is fine, just need to get my arse into gear to sort it.
Paintwork being dealt with end of April which I cannot wait for. She's gonna be looking all pretty for the summer (that is until I take her green-laning again).
We need to meet up for a hoon down the Kings road when Jung gets the Plymouth back on the road!
