Bloody tipping it down now so i'm going to leave it inside until i get to take some glamour shots...!
Me and the family kept going down and sitting in it last night and inhaling the 45 year old leather smell -like the Bisto family.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjZuZSort-Y
We will have a lovely forum favourite car for sale in a week or two if anyone is interested?

Interesting, I wonder what the commitment to hand over the cash is. Do you think you can back out if it doesn't actually look like the description?
Cars on Collecting Cars have been going cheap, I wonder if bidders are worrying about the same thing.

I do like that K wing! Not seen them before.
I think the classic Mini suffers from lack of weight for the A048s, you struggle to get heat in them in the wet.

Maximum chonk. I like them.
Need to get that shit lowered ASAP now.

The pic side by side with that Nissan chunk is nuts!
Golf is great.

The Clio is still here for now, but I think I'll advertise it in the next few months if I can find a garage for the Golf here in London.

Am I (in the words of BRM) just being a fanny about sticking the bikes in the car rather than on the car for the trip to the Alps, and I should just stick them on the roof and damn the fuel consumption?
Just thinking that I'll have way more room for clothes etc if the bikes are on the roof, but of course I'll need to find somewhere to store them for the overnight stay in each direction.

Bikes on the car roof make me nervous. In the back if at all possible. Take less clothes.

• #56066
I’d do a trial pack, but I still don’t have the damn bike.

Well that fucks the contest.
If your lodging has an "Accueil Velo/Acccueil Cyclste" (cycle friendly) designation then they should have secured storage somewhere.
Any cheap hotel like an IBIS should allow you to put the bikes in your room if you are polite and ask nicely.

I test drove one a few years ago. Handed the keys back and apologised for sweating through the seat. It's an amazing car, but you'd have to go to a track regularly to get value from it.

Lovely. So tempting.
Unfortunately not - a Land rover instead - my chauffeur (friend) was a bit wary of bringing his precious beasts out in the rain..!
