Think the tread blocks move around a lot or something making it squirmy. Do look though, which is what matters.

They will sell the written off car on to offset the (wholesale) cost of the new car.

I'm trying to diagnose a rattle in my Berlingo. From time to time I'll get a rattle/vibration through the gearstick when driving in fifth gear. If I fiddle a bit, I can hold it in a quiet position, but as soon as I let go it rattles again. My first thought was the linkage from the stick to the gearbox, but since it's only in fifth should I be worried it's a gearbox issue? Car's done 225.000 km.

Just found it. Weird, maybe to do with time zones or china or something

these historic tyres are also crossply as opposed to radial, no?
Crossply tyres are hilariously squirmy, especially with a blocky tread

In rally car progress news, this week i have mostly been trying to find some wheels that actually:
1) Fill the wheel arches
2)Clear the brakes
3)Pass the MSA ruling for tyre width for given engine size
4)Don't look shitLooking at these revolution milleniums in 15x7 at the moment

Do you have an offset value and a particular style you prefer? Also, budget? I love playing which wheels.

Can I interest you in a set of Compomotive TH Mono in 15x8 ET20?
-
• #45015
In theory 15 x 7 ET 15 is what i have in the CAD there, but it really depends what the "x-factor" of the wheels is
I would really like some THs but i don't think i can run 15x8 without them being ET00
(i actually have some 15x6 ET38 TH1 gravel wheels already i'm gutted won't fit any more)

I remember something about a rear diff seal or something like that, other than that not heard bad things. A mate picked up a free one off his dad's friend or something because the garage wanted 4 figures to replace this seal, but he's a home mechanic so did it over a weekend, seal cost £2

They expect the machining video to be out in a week or two and episode 21 by the end of the month. Apparently they are both full time on the project thanks to Patreons.

Richard Brunning recommended (very kindly) the place that we're using to machine our tappet carriers.

I've stumbled across a series called Soup Classic Motoring, which looks good.
Aha- they look cool though! Interesting to hear they're difficult to drive well. Softer sidewalls more wobbly or something like that?
