Ah no way, I'm off Forest road, he's probably within gobbing distance of me

Speaking of small Fiats my brother had a Panda and it was probably the funnest, scariest car I've ever driven

Totally this. Rainsport 3 are good tyres for the wet UK, but mis-matched can fuck off.
-
• #41205
If you think missmatch tyres are the worst, check it's MOT history. Not one for maintenance.

lollage

Ha! Prophecy fulfilled.
Prior to the MOT history being available, you had to use clues such as mis-matching or budget tyres to estimate what sort of life the car had lived, now you can just see for yourself.

I especially like how it failed on corroded brake lines, they werent resolved and just bumped to an advisory. Top work tester!

Saw that, surprising for that kinda of price. In the tyre tests I've read in Sweden (done by car mags) everything below say £80 fails on every aspect. Don't recognise the name though so they might not be available here

Cheap shit China tyres can >>>> right off. But rainsport 3 are almost ideal UK b Road tyre imo. Even in very low temp they do well. High powered fwd + dry warm ish weather (20c) and they wear insanely fast, very soft sidewalls.
I love seeing folk who have like a 18-36 month old BMW /audi/Merc 3.0 + car, and then its rolling on no name China plastic tyres, it's like seriously why do you even have access to a car.

I'm rolling on NOKIAn z line at the minute, go it totally fed up of the Michelin primacy 3 on my other wheels. In the wet and low temp they are not great, primacy 3 is a more expensive tyre. £130 vs £90 in my size

I got an advisory for corroded brake lines actually, does anyone have a ballpark for how much that might cost to rectify?

Probably too late but the s6 all day.

Four E39's parked outside my block when I got home today, I'm aiming to pick up the C55 sometime in the week next week, after seeing the Volvo safely to it's new custodian.

With regards to my car for sale, eagle eyed readers might remember I had a battery drain issue which culminated in me buying a new battery. In case you were concerned that hadn’t been fixed, it wasn’t the common fault of the “hedgehog”.
I’d bought a cheap Chinese Bluetooth OBD2 reader, I never managed to get it to connect to my phone so I never used it, but I forgot to unplug it! Turns out it was doing a great job of running the battery down every 3-4 days attempting to connect.
I disconnected it and replaced the battery anyway as it was recommended that it be replaced. It’s my understanding that if you have to jumpstart a battery so many times it’s detrimental to its health. Not sure if that’s true but I felt it was a good idea to do things properly.

Not sure I could afford petrol!
The SuperFastWankerBarge is currently gobbling up between 17 and 18 gallons of SUL a mile, so my perceptions of fuel economy may be slightly skewed.

Lets just stop for a second here and cherish this moment, it’s been a long time coming.
A chapter ends, a new one begins.
