Have you looked at the Halfords professional range? They used to have lifetime warranty. You could go for a breaker bar with a relevant socket.
I have a Halfords pro socket set and it’s been great

Halfords socket sets are on sale at the moment in their eBay store.

Can't you guys just make out and move on?

Now that’s a truly terrifying prospect.

1/2" breaker bar + whichever 1/2" socket for your wheel nuts. Fits in the boot nicely.

Did you return the LED bulbs?
I have since found out that the ones with fans actually split into two parts for installation purposes.

I cycle past a RHD 964 targa with 30k miles every day. Its done 100 miles in the last 10 years. 10 miles a year to the MOT station and back. Its parked on the road and gets gets a bit more grotty every year. I've located the owner, but as of yet they won't sell it to me. Such a waste. :(

I had a Renault and I was tightening a wheel nuts in the normal way, standard bar with 14 stone just nipping it up and the bar parted company with the socket. Luckily I didnt kiss the concrete so then went and bought a replacement.....one of those where you change the socket and the adjustable arm. Sodding g Renault always did things on the cheap

I did, and I knew that. I could get the little ring snap into place, but the bulb itself was too big
Halogen H7s are 12mm, the led lamp was 15mm so quite a difference

That's a huge difference, very frustrating! Sorry it didn't work out.

Nice one cheers all. Ill check halfrauds

Yeah a shame as halogens just aren't good enough, but getting to work with a dremel inside the lights felt a bit over the top, not sold on having a load of filed off metal in there
I'm considering getting two small led ramps and putting them here
quite close to the ground though, so not ideal, but I think it's the only option that will actually look good

Whenever I'm in Sweden these seem to be the choice of the majority:

I know, i know. But with the dolpin nose of the 9-5 it doesn't even look half good. That said, I don't particularly like the look of the car anyway.
Another issue is that xenon extra lights apparently plays havoc with the computer etc, even making the engine misfire. Same with xenon conversions. So, led it is.

TBF that might be the new one that went in this arvo, it does look rather fresh.
I was at work - Tim sent me that picture to show that he'd turned up and was on the job.

Must be a little bit nervous seeing the car getting stripped? On a side note, that's a great angle to shoot the car at.
Torque wrench to undo bolts????
