LPG systems come in many shapes and forms. Make sure it is a decent kit and the tank is in a sensible place. If it has been done properly will be an injector per cylinder with the electronics to make the magic happen. This system is expensive to fit and needs to be maintained and the emissions checked regularly.
I'dsay V8 wins...but is it emission zone friendly?

Haha WABOC. Just tried it on my E61 and the offer was approx 50% of what I paid, which was a good price at the time and from a quick scan of autotrader I would expect similar now.

Just trying to sanity check the price for the 550. I assume he has advertised it at 10 and would accept 9?

Too high/low?

Just give him the ten large and run away with a bargain basement beemer.

It's high for the year but it's low mileage, big/rare engine and seems to have every single possible option...
My 525 was 4.6 with 110k (and a 2k repair/service bill) and doesn't have fucking nightvision and a HUD! -

Does the night vision overlay on the HUD?
Dogger seeker mode.

When I bought my E39 540i manual bitd I paid loads more than the guides suggested cos I wanted one and in the 6 months or so I looked it was the only good one that came up.

Feedback from a friend who works at BMW:
The retail price for that car comes in at £7,225 – that’s the expected retail price a car dealer would expect to sell out at. An Approved Used BMW dealer would be expected to sell out at ~£1500 more to account for official pre-sales checks, warranties etc.
Therefore, the private value of £9,995 is as I suspected high for that car, considering no inspection or warranty.

So are you going to make an offer? Just do a Mike Brewer and slip your size 10's on and go in low...
-
• #37964
Not without going to see it, and without an army of helpers turning up on Saturday morning I won't be able to go and see it this weekend - so I suspect it'll sell before I get to it.

Pay some removal people. Only cost you a couple of hundred.

It really is just moving stuff between my flat and my garage, I'd be too ashamed to get a removals person in for that.

So cool. Body looks great as a flying car...
Also, that chassis is so simple. Must be a joy to work on with the body off.

Dunno, it seems to be a particularly poor time to sell a car ATM. Time of year maybe, brexit gloom, people saving for xmas or whatever. My M3 has had a couple of nibbles and some lowballs.

Ace. Look forward to more progress pics!

Any thing unusual with the chassis? Or should the be how rotten?
Have used boat repairs before to repair fibreglass as they seem to deal with it on a more regular basis.

Was ist?
Used to use copper grease, but after talking with a lubricant specialist OE they use ceramic grease. It is non sticky so doesn't attack dirt and create a grinding paste. Used alot with cycles and carries a premium. 600g tub should be around a tenner. Or wait till euro car parts has a decent percentage off and 100g tube is around 2.5
