  • its going to be a 2nd car - 50miles per week - odd long journey where merc seat massage would be nice ;)

  • If its only going to be for 50 miles per week does it need to be super economical. You can get a lot of car for the money if you are willing to sacrifice MPG.

  • Petrol will be the least of his worries

  • Drawing from my own experience of going down a similar route, it will end up being enjoyable but way more expensive than you thought.

  • It will cost you, but you know what, 2 years after selling my Mercedes I still fondly reminisce about it. It was just so lovely to drive.

  • Green laning.

anyone done it within the m25?

  • Come down to my country estate. There some proper fucking lanes that attract the weirdo 4wd cunts.

  • Not a Swede and the site doesn't, as far as I can tell, allow nationwide searches. Did check the Danish equivalent, but no luck.

  • If you find out I'd love to know. Headed to thetford forest this weekend to ride mountain bikes but might chance a spot of greenlaning too.

    Are you racing on Sunday?

  • You're driving from London to Thetford to ride mountain bikes?! I spent many years riding there but only because I was in Norfolk. There's no hills to speak of... None.

  • Anyone interested in a Thule Easyfold 931

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_qQjeKko2U

Used maybe 4 times... comes with a Thule padded storage / carrying bag for it.

    Total new: £490

    Forum price: £300

  • What U replacing it wif?

  • A new car without a tow hook.

Probably go for the suction cup efforts:

  • I might get a carrier for the roof rack. Bit concerned I will forget the height at some point.

  • What is the advantage of the folding- storage?

I have the entry level/much cheaper version and it's ace, if a little big.

I hang it from the rafters in the garage when not in use.

  • Just wateched the video, does look like a big step up

  • It's definitely better quality than the cheaper non-folding ones. I bought it solely because it was the only one that would fit in the boot of my car if i needed to store it when i'd taken the bikes off of it (parked in a car park etc).

  • I can see it'd be ideal for that- my non-folding one fits easily in the Volvo, but you would then need to pile everything else on top (or fold the seats down).

  • I got two btwin ones, a double and a triple. Both are excellent, fold to half the size, electrics and light board included in the design. easy to lock frames to it and to the car ball. Also tilts out of the way. But 1/3 Rd the price of thule, yes lower weight limit, but would Hever want to put 3x £££ mtb hanging off a toe hitch, no rack is that well supported.
    Annoying they discontented them

  • This car pleases me.
