  • Probably doesn't like being called a landy.

  • Cheers guys, all stuff I'll check tomorrow, at the time I was so bummed out that I just locked the doors and went inside for a beer. Nothing is every simple...

  • more a dig at Dammit and his never ending repair bills.

Not a game I'm going to be playing, given that the next time the Superfastwankerbarge goes to see Mr. Audi there's a fighting chance it'll be met with a 2.5k bill to remove the engine in order to replace a 50p oil seal.

  • Bit late to the party...

...although I did build it in August. Late birthday present to meself.

  • Man maths rampage!!!

  • @Hefty what colour does Porsche call this carpet?

And is this Metrepol Blue and Granite Blue plastic?

  • Dunno.

Is this for your car? Your local OPC should be able to tell you from the VIN.

  • minus 10 points for Porsche branded boy racer seatbelt pad.

  • I was thinking that too. How's your new Mini?

  • Great! took a little while to get used to not sitting in a super fancy top spec beemer interior, but apart from that its been great.
Is a hoot to drive, even with shit tyres and diesel engine!

  • Looks a bit Brown? 😬

  • minus 10 points for Porsche branded boy racer seatbelt pad.

I agree, that's not my car btw.

  • FunFunFun

  • I think it is the Ford Cortina Blue that tips it...

  • Could be worse. Can't see any Scotchlocks.

  • They were covered in leccy tape

  • Ah, in that case nuke from orbit. I spent 2 hours diagnosing a non-starting Caterham in the middle of Austria, only to find that some plonker had fitted a shift light by using a Scotchlock on the wire running from the ECU to the coil.

  • Amazing

  • Remove all that shite and start again. Run wire to a nice new fuse board and then re wire all the bits.

  • Remove all electronics, hang lanterns on each corner, stick paddles out of the windows to indicate, starting handle to fire it.

  • Ugh this ain't gonna be good, I'm
Planning to try again tomorrow and redo the starting and charging circuit to see if I can at least get it to turn over.

  • This kind of thing actually crossed my mind, just mount bike Lights to each corner and continue using hand signals...

  • At what point do you rip the lot out and buy a new harness?

  • Not at this point :)

Replaced a couple of wires and most of the fuses and now it runs once again.
