Cheers guys, all stuff I'll check tomorrow, at the time I was so bummed out that I just locked the doors and went inside for a beer. Nothing is every simple...

more a dig at Dammit and his never ending repair bills.
Not a game I'm going to be playing, given that the next time the Superfastwankerbarge goes to see Mr. Audi there's a fighting chance it'll be met with a 2.5k bill to remove the engine in order to replace a 50p oil seal.

Could be worse. Can't see any Scotchlocks.

They were covered in leccy tape

Ah, in that case nuke from orbit. I spent 2 hours diagnosing a non-starting Caterham in the middle of Austria, only to find that some plonker had fitted a shift light by using a Scotchlock on the wire running from the ECU to the coil.

Amazing

Remove all that shite and start again. Run wire to a nice new fuse board and then re wire all the bits.

Remove all electronics, hang lanterns on each corner, stick paddles out of the windows to indicate, starting handle to fire it.

Ugh this ain't gonna be good, I'm
Planning to try again tomorrow and redo the starting and charging circuit to see if I can at least get it to turn over. -
• #31997
This kind of thing actually crossed my mind, just mount bike Lights to each corner and continue using hand signals...

At what point do you rip the lot out and buy a new harness?
-

Not at this point :)
Replaced a couple of wires and most of the fuses and now it runs once again.
Probably doesn't like being called a landy.
