You'll be lucky to get a weekend day.

If you can wait a couple of months, I think 1st or 2nd December I'm heading to Brands, either with my car fixed or with my friend and his fiancée in their cars.
If not, this website can be useful:

Blyton or Snetterton the weekend after
Blyton on Sunday 9thor if your balls are huge, pick the car up and go straight to Bedford on 08/10/2016
I'll meet you there. -

10.
I did guess a couple but also a couple you can work out pretty easily if you know one or two things about the cars.

Which ones did you get wrong?

Saw a black 993 coupe in Clerkenwell earlier, they're so small compared to the bloated lumps parked in our work car park (coupe of 991s)

Umm, fezza, maserati and the V6. You've got to be a real cry-wanking anorak to get those.

Race Retro's 2015 display was great, I have a huge soft spot for 60s-early 90s sports cars. Lola excelled:
And the Gulf Chevron that was in the lobby was spectacular.

Fuck you, the term it sad fucker that has a strange memory for useless crap. I recognised a certain series renault 5 tailgate and lots of men were amazed and in a awe. So an anorak amongst anoraks....

I recognised a certain series renault 5 tailgate
Of this I have no doubt

But this is blatantly not true ;-)

The Mrs complains that the 911 doesn't sound as good as a modern Maserati - who can recommend an exhaust that would achieve this?
-
• #30096
It's a flat 6 versus a flat plane Ferrari V8. Of course it doesn't sound as good as a Maserati, and it never will. Don't waste your money on a sports exhaust unless the one on it actually needs replacing. Just go somewhere you can rev the tits off it. It sounds great when it's being spanked.

Boo

Crackle/bang/bang/bellow/howl. That's what an exhaust should sound like.
-

That's what a broken exhaust sounds like, especially on a Porsche flat six. A properly designed one should not crackle or bang. Those are modern affectations of the Audi driving crowd with their bypass valves.
An exhaust note should be smooth and refined, with a muted, perhaps slightly menacing note in the low numbers, hinting at the unbridled amounts of power yet to come. And it should rise gently to a shrieking crescendo when the revs rise.
For your 911: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAjxUtk0WJs
A stonking Aston Martin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6_083S-CyA
And a rather lovely sounding Jaguar XJ12C: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TMgIkx40tI

No one knows the difference between a DC5 and a not DC5 Integra unless they were born in the 90s in 'Merica.
Also, what even is a Maserati Shamal?
I got 8. :(
Reply fail. The engine quiz.
I'm in Colorado from Friday for a week, so back the weekend of the 8th - which is likely the day I'll pick the Porsche up from the garage, is there a track day happening either that or the following weekend that we could take the car too in order to see how it goes?
