My favorite feature on the P1 is when it rains, the little pit below the wing makes a cracking bird bath!
Highlights of my weekend;
The C9 being run up through the gears in the paddock with no wheels on. Just incredible!
The sideways action of the rally truck going up the hill.
During the shootout on Sunday there was some really skillful driving, particularly by the two older chaps, one in a pre-war Alfa, and the other in a Ferrari single seat sports car. Both over 70 and killing it. Also, the Toyota Tundra NASCAR which just looked so close to the edge!
The noise of the Beast of Turin starting in the morning.
Feeling smug driving a Discovery past 2 AMG Mercedes in the mud on Saturday evening.I feel like the event was better done this year than last.
Now just counting down to Revival!

Minor end of show highlight; 4-wheel spinning out of the mudbath carpark. Sorry Lord M!

2017 it's all car stuff for me. N24H, Spa 6H, Le Mans 24H, Goodwood FOS, Revival, and Members Meeting, and as many PH SS and trackdays as I can fit in. So much for spending 1st year of marriage with the new wife...

May well have been the case! I was a bit focused on enjoying the noise to see anyone standing around. I was a generic Goodwood-ite, so I can't say I'd have been easy to spot!
@Crispin_Glover the only way! We got up the hill in our car park, and they were sending people the dry way. The Marshal waved us through a gap and we went to say thanks, he just said "You'll be the only thing getting through, might as well enjoy it".

You're that guy in the house at the end of the road who's got any number of car carcasses, all "in progress". None of which include the "Capri of lunacy" laying dormant in the garage...

I love the sound of the 767b. I had a few Mazdas back in nz and my mate currently has a quad rotor quad turbo rx2 with about 2000hp and ran a 6.90ish at 200mph.

The C9.
Excuse the overexcited commentary and shite camera work. :oP

Every other house in my village is like that! The roll call includes:
205 GTi
Lowered Volvo 240 estate
2* Series 2 Land Rovers (and lots of defenders)
2* VW T25 (one of which is mine)
VW bay ( this one is in a garage)
Mini
MX5 track day car
Soon to be added: Merc 190e (me)and one of my neighbours has a 1944 5-ton truck that is spotlessly restored, he keeps it in a barn somewhere though and not actually in the village

And this doesn't include my mate with the 997 GT2, R5 Turbo and the BMW 3.0 CSL. He lives in the next village.

I'd love either an early R5 Turbo or one of the last Raider editions.

I still haven't seen it, as soon as he got it he sent it away for an engine rebuild.

Fortunately not.
He's a member at the golf club I'm running, so charity golf day and he's doing a show later.
Who knew.
Very nice.
A proper car, that.
