  • Nope. Reimaging by Vizualtech called the Growler. Apparantly 'going into limited production' but all mention on the internet is approx 2 years old and all the pics are renders so meh. Not so pretty from other angles, either.

  • Fo(u)r Queens made me do a little lol ^^

  • If your trying to improve on the worlds most beautiful car* its not going to end well.

    NB. Not in my view

  • +1 why try and re-imagine something so close to perfection.

  • love this!

just sold Scooby this very night-better than doubled my money after a year of driving it which is not often said... sad to see it go but garage bills in Sweden are petrifying, not to mention road tax and everything else : /

when I get back to UK I might just keep my peepers open for the wee 2002 Touring I really want...

  • Spoked wheels? Really?!

  • Took the car in for it's MOT this morning, took a few photographs whilst I was there.

Intake manifold for a straight eight in a 1930's Humber:

Up close the welds are amazing.

Audi S8 engine going into a 240 drift car:

    This'll be a 500 bhp Volvo 740 when finished:

My much much smaller 16T turbo, hiding in a nest of black tubes:

Being replaced with this 19T from a low mileage car- shaft wobble begone!

I want one of these in my workshop:

  • New (practical) car alert!

    03 530i, 115 k, 1 owner car in very light metallic blue/ silver.

Creeamy smooth motor. Got to check the rotors / alignment as there's a little shimmy on light braking. Curious as the front disks look brand new...

Nice to drive a proper car after 2 weeks in a shitbox rental!

  • Could be warped or could be deposits. Try a bedding in session to see if it's deposits on the discs or pads.

Also could be the usual big BMW tie rods/bushes issues.

Could well be tie rods / bushes. It's v smooth otherwise though, no clunking or anything. Will have a look next week.

  • Just bought my L2B mini run ticket :) out of the last 20 odd left out of 2100!!! Cant wait :D

    Things to get:
10x6 Anthracite Ultralites / Paint wellers black
    Mini7 Decals
Black inner grill or mk1 moustache (dont really wanna fiddle with the lip
    New dashboard
    Mk2 Lights.
    and many many more.....

  • Failed your test again yet?

I wouldn't bother with a mk1 moustache grill. They only look good on period cars and never fit properly.
    Also, Ultralites would look great.

Nice, that V8 240 will smash it!

Get some pics up, they're lovely cars those E39s, best looking 5 series after the E28.

When do you want help with those MK2 lights? PM me.

10x7 will look better. MOOAAARRR POKE.

    Man speaks the truth.

    Ridiculous Volvo for Dammit:

  • @NH Well if I pass my test tomorrow! First I need to get some lights and yes 10x7's will come later down the line in the form of either Potenza's or force racing ;)
    :D
Also could you help me fix my odometer :P its stuck itself exactly on 40k

  • Do it once, do it right ;-)

MB racing are slightly more affordable than Force and just as good quality, if you're on a budget, they'll be much better for you. They're in Rochester too so you can drive down there and have a look at their setup and their sexy wheels.

  • Make sure you fit Yoko A008s too:

  • I always wanted a set of these but you'll never find a set:

    SSR wheels, made in Japan.

  • A guy on the MX5 forum had Jenvey ITBs installed. NA goodness.

Leave the grille Mk2 and shiny. It makes the mini look happy when the sun shines.
Black grilles look Mini City cheap and nasty, and Mk1s look sad.

I'm no fan of Mk3 rear lights, but reversing lights are handy, if you're reversing in the dark.

  • A lil light on the valence no?
