  • Sorry about the 911s, BRM, I know you're not a fan...

  • He's just bitter.

  • have a look at Bruce Canepa's inventory. utter filth. the 'sold cars' section is just amazing.

  • Rothmans 962C?

    Yes please.

  • Jesus, all of his inventory is splluuurrrgggee!

  • i told you! i didn't even get to the race cars before puking all over myself the first time...

  • I've just soiled my pants. Again.

  • I read an article about a guy who had used one of these as a daily driver since new.

It had done a few hundred thousand miles without any serious issues. That is commitment.

If I could afford one of these, that would be the last car I bought. Nothing else needed.

  • there was a great article in one of the rags a couple of years ago about a guy that was still using a 356 daily, that he bought new. it had been all over the us and europe.

  • I think I read that- didn't it ingest one of its own throttle butterflies at one point?

  • can't remember. i'll have a look and scan it if i find if

  • I love that green Charger.

  • i like this...

  • I watched an episode of Top Gear the other night, had that Morgan 3 wheeler on- that looked like an absolute laugh riot.

Skinny little wheels, big torque from the V-twin up front, I'd love one.

  • Sorry about the 911s, BRM, I know you're not a fan...

i really like them, btw. especially the early ones.
i don't know why everyone thinks i hate them.
i just get bored of the 20 million pics.

    and...

they all look the same :)

  • Wash your mouth out!

Just a couple of things you have previously said...

    aston, porsche, lotus.
    aston, porsche, lotus.
    aston, porsche, lotus.
    aston, porsche, lotus.

    Booooorrrrriiiiinnnnggg.

    :)

Can someone send me a pm when you have finished the porsche-off, please?

Also, I think I'm mostly to blame for perpetuating the myth as every time I post some Porsches I make sure I say apologies to BRM.

  • Also, the early ones are best, I'm not a fan of any of the water cooled Porsches except for the RS models.

Saying that, I have never turned down the opportunity to drive my dad's 996 Carrera, but these days I have more fun in my MX5.

  • One of the best pictures for AGES - brilliant.

They are among my favourite cars. I know someone who has a particularly nice collection:

This is from when he moved house (and wasn't the only transporter):

  • It's got to be a 2.7 RS for me though, none of this base model stuff.

If not a 2.7 RS, I'll settle for a 964 turbo. That's slightly more achievable.

  • One of the best pictures for AGES - brilliant.

Indeed, photos of cars in action are far better that a staged beauty shot.
