never been a turbo/nitrous fan. like the engineering required for n/a engines.
previous owner had this
daily driving this, with this under the hood and 404 rwkw (540rwhp)
building another 408 turbo wagon race car massive tubs etc

You're getting into a pretty advanced area, but still- I'm willing to bet that you could build an engine that would put out 800 rwhp for pass after pass for a hell of a lot less with a big diesel truck turbo on it than if you tried to do the same thing with crazy cams etc.

402+methanol+massive turbo=7 second car

Not my scene though. Like my current engine, with right mods and not necessarily big $$'s, i think i can do 650+hp on e85. Will be angry engine though.
If wanted to go fast i'd just buy a 600+ cube big block chev. Can get 1300hp race engine, turnkey $us25k.

Looks awesome Dballs. Looking forward to seeing developments. if I lived out in Oz, I'd have to have a big Aussie muscle car!

Sweet project man, nothing beats the sound of an angry n/a engine winding out. Amazing how those light cars will hook even without massive rubber.

Yep, max i should need is 255/60/15 radial, which is equiv to 27x8 slick.

Most 240 owners are douchebags. Such a 'lifestyler' car.

Lotus Twin Cam Anglia. Urm.

You'd think at that price it would look better, more original such as rear window inserts or running period mods.
The better anglia's have fully rose jointed suspension and lotus cortina wheels.

this vette has similar cam and engine combo i'm currently looking at. if that doesn't make you happy in the pants there is something wrong.

Can anyone recommend somewhere for accident damage/bodywork in London (North preferably) or even just out of town. Some fucker put a big ol' dent in my drivers door and didn't leave any details.

£900 for a 280bhp twin turbo legacy wagon - loads of fun and plenty of room for bikes
Dale that is quite cool, no doubt, but why are you such a massive vagine when it comes to developing some proper power?
This guy isn't scared of the boost:
