  • I have seen this being driven round Knightsbridge - the owner and his pasanger were wearing full KTM liveried races suits and matching matt carbon full face helmets, looked so stupid stuck in traffic on Sloane St

  • But they don't give a shit what they look like. If they did they wouldn't have bought one of those.

  • Oh yes yes yes.

  • Recently I've been mostly wanting a 914.

    This'd do nicely.

  • Yep, they are cool little cars:

  • I drove one of those KTMs once. Great car, but you do feel like a total bell in town. I'd still much rather have a Caterham - R500 with the sequential box and, for me at least, a proper windscreen.

  • Or one of these:

With Honda S2000 running gear. Could probably build it for less than half the KTM cost.

    It's a volkswagen ;) With a strange back ground.

Had a couple of the later 4 cyclinders vw engined one us imports. Bodywork faded and dented and the mechanicals past their best. Things like worn shocks, engine need re ringing and bottom end. As a youngster, no one really knew it was a porsche so quickly replaced with a marathon beetle.

    ace little cars.

i went to look at one of them with a zetec and a 5 speed. i couldn't get in the drivers side, even with half a tub of vaseline. it went like stink.

  • It lives! Drove back 80 whole miles from Andover without a hitch then spent a couple of hours cruising around in traffic to let the EFI tune itself a bit.

....One small hitch. 100squid in superunleaded today. Now skint.

This pleases me immensely. We on for Ace end of this month then?

  • Should be - which day?

  • A toyota which looks like a volvo...

    good one though....

What is it with these outdated designs?

It's like they had no where to go after facets but back to ellipses.

    :o$

  • i'd rather take this one....

  • nick named the bathtub porche I believe

That was the 356 wasn't it.

  • The F Type is here and it is lovely:

  • Ne bad.

It's got a clueless pretty look.

    Bit S2000?

  • Mind you this picture

has been nagging at me all day. It reminds me of something.
    What could it be?

    Ahh yes, Nono:

  • Looks like an artist's impression of the Mercedes SLS Concept.

  • derriere...

i don't like it, but at least it isn't another evora/ascari/koenig/noble-alike, like the mp4-12c. they were all stating to look the same. the arse is not what i would call outdated at all.

i think the 458 knocks spots off it.

beautiful. i hope these are worth fuck-all in 12 years time, like the rest of the big cats, so i can put it on 'the list'

  • derriere...

    that's hot, too.
