  • Did he remember to put the blue strip across the top of the windscreen?

    "Bodie" "Doyle"

  • It's a left hooker so I would be sat underneath "Doyle".

  • Who takes a picture with an iPad? Freak.

  • Camera was present but memory card wasn't. Melt.

  • You should put some flame decals on the m3 and underglow. Maybe some spinners too? Then take a pick with your Ipad

  • adds V-L to ignore

  • :P I'm on a long bus ride - bored!
    Upload some pics of it?

  • Bus wanker.

  • Richie has just left, he tracked down why my car was squeaking- my rear anti-roll bar is broken.

    Fucksticks.

  • Hmm. That's not so expensive to deal with, is it?

  • ~£300

  • Can you DIY?

  • Thanks. It's just a styling exercise I was playing with in my spare time.

What did you do with your degree? (if you don't mind me asking) :o)

    Looking good!

I did two short-ish industrial design contracts, and now I'm off to do a Master's in industrial design. After that, I'm going to New Zealand for a few years (fiancée has a job offer there... so it's possibly a permanent relocation)... so in terms of a career, I have no idea. Hopefully something to do with design or some other physical problem-solving, and hopefully something to do with bicycles or alternative transport.

    What about you?

  • Can you DIY?

I'm going to get the whole of the rear suspension done I reckon, plus a full four wheel alignment.

Front and rear ARB's, upgrade the rear to coilovers, stiffer springs and set the ride height.

I think this gaiter is a bit tired:

  • You've got Nivomats, right?
You will need completely different springs. Most of the springing is done by the Nivomats rather than the coils, if they work anything they did on the SD1.

I'd be reluctant to give up self levelling on an estate. I'm not sure coilovers is an upgrade over a refurbished set of Nivomats.

  • I just had a chat with the mechanic, he reckons just slap in an uprated anti-roll bar and get a four wheel alignment.

Bar is ~£200, and should sharpen up the turn in considerably.

  • Good clip.

  • Rear wheel steer?

Four wheel alighment, what does that mean? Is the caster/ camber adjustable on yours?

  • Passive rear steer- yes.
    Caster/camber adjustable-yes.

  • Can't handle all this 2002 talk...would do terrible things to obtain one like this:

  • I did terrible things to get my M3 to where it is now.

  • Passive rear steer- yes.
    Caster/camber adjustable-yes.

    Did my Volcane have this?

  • I did terrible things to get my M3 to where it is now.

    That state being?

  • Loads of overtime.
