  • i am going to look at track prepped alfa in blackheath this afternoon - woo!

  • Which model?

  • a mate is purchasing, but we are going to share it (meaning i am the spanner monkey, but get to share the driving at the track days).

  • That is lovely. Seriously.

  • I know, it looks too good to be true.

  • i'll have an alfa, an m3 and an mgb to take on track days - ace!

  • just teasing - how did you get on with the garage lady? neil has had more dealing with her than i have. i'll ask him next time i am at the horsepower cave

  • that is no more usable than my mgb.

    i like it, though.

  • looks, good, doesn't it?

i'd like to swap the engine with mine and shift it on.

  • When is the last time you drove your M3 for any length of time? ;o)))

    A year ago. Maybe.

  • better than living on your own in a bedsit, peeling the skin back over a bhs catalogue...

  • Its like living with your soul mate, the nicest and best person in your life your one and all and being intimate only once a year........

    What a ridiculous comparison.

Anyway - I've owned it too long for it to not be part of my life.

  • Haven't you seen the photos?

  • Not at all, but there aren't many 23yr old cars that won't have suffered from the elements.

  • It's not April yet. Plenty of things to go wrong before that.

  • that little alfa was a super sorted little car. grp from the windows down.
big brakes, konis and a twin spark engine from a 75.

only problem seemed to be rust in the boot, where the floor was bonded the the wheel arch

  • ...i need a legacy wagon....

  • that little alfa was a super sorted little car. grp from the windows down.
big brakes, konis and a twin spark engine from a 75.

Looks great fun. Did you mate pull the trigger?

neil - check this for some cheap wet roundabout action...

This looked a proper bargain. Cheap classic fun!

  • not too keen on the rusty bits, tbh. it also might be a bit too hard core for him at this stage. he is probably going to look at something a bit more road orientated and upgrade as he goes along. there is no turning back with that one.

    look at this one, too:
i hope this is not bad news for me :(

  • I have a money pit, the only thing it's a usable money pit so I give something and get something in return and I was just looking for an excuse to take it out this Sunday

and not just post up on a thread my dreams of what I would like to own and drive ;o))))

It's a nice E30 but there's no point being a dick about what the rest of us are doing. B&D's M3 is whole different ball game.

I own a car I'm very happy with, I use it a ridiculous amount and it's much less practical than yours.

  • What are you on about? There are no Volvos to be seen

  • Ah well...

  • So been MIA whilst in africa but im back now :) hurrah
Im thinking this would look nice on the mini, these.
Has anyone got a nice warm garage for the winter that i might be able to store it in? I would be happy to pay and my parents dont have any space now.
