• yer first saw them at the walk the plank last show a few years back when theyd just started
shame to see a good band stop in there prime

• Yeah, has to be said that Im sceptical about this being Unbroken's last show ever and I agree 20 quid is a bit steep. Considering though that they are one of my all time favourite bands and this is probably the only chance Im ever gonna get to see them, I can deal with it.
I figure the venue will get changed as soon as the first load of tickets get sold out (if they haven't already), no doubt it will end up somewhere a bit bigger

• I just got around to watching the film on Fugazi by Jem Cohen called Instrument and it was rather good.

I doubt it, I think it will get moved due to lack of ticket sales.
hopefully to the underworld. I can't see many kids really giving to much of a shit
about them these days but it all depends on who hypes it.

• ^I dunno, the facebook group already has over 300 confirmed guests, granted thats no indicator of anything, but given that theres people travelling from all over europe I reckon it could get pretty packed.

• Conflict anyone? A friend of mine got badly into heroin and in a rare lucid moment entrusted his entire and very exrensive Conflict collection to me for 'safe keeping' in case he'd be tempted to sell it all. Luckily for me, he's now forgotten this transaction and I've still got them. Obviously, he can come round and have them all back any time he likes.

• fwiw, never really got into american hardcore. All seemed too much having the right pair of trainers. But Conflict, The Subhumans...

• Fuck you all, the pistols own the clash. Pistols had more great songs on one album than the clash had in 5 years.

• bollocks, youre talking shit
the pistols were contrived fashion toss, the Clash were where it was at, crossing boundaries and staying true to their ideas,

• naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah mate: clash were a bunch of public school wannabes copying wot the pistols did. Not the pistols fault they were better dressed.

• everyone I know who saw the Clash live says that they started out at a million miles an hour, but were knackered and crap after 5 songs. Meh. For me the Pistols have it over the Clash - I know I should feel differently, but being honest, I don't......that first Pistols LP...at the time....a really big thing

• @up from, dont try and fool us, you really mean yer but, no but, yer but, no but, yer but......

yeah its always all about the first l.ps innit, whatever genre.

• The Subhumans: by far the best anarcho-punk band ever to come out of Warminster. Or indeed anywhere in Wiltshire.

• The new orchid/bronson band "failures" is pretty great!

+1

Or Vancouver.

YouTube- Subhumans- Fuck You

• I guess this could be considered hardcore punk:

YouTube- Impaled Nazarene-Karmakeddo Warriors(1999)

• OMFG impaled nazarene? I think i got one of their albums somewhere. Crazy right-wing finnish nutters.

Wouldn't say they were punk tho. Some sort of metal.

• (On checking the video) Yup. Black metal.

• black metal and hardcore/crust is so close in musical style i think
blackered crust bands like darkthrone are really good and they are still going

• Yeah, crust and black metal cross over a lot, especially Dbeat stuff. At the end of the day they all stem from the same musical root, there would be no black metal without punk.

• yer dbeat and crust is probably my favourite style at the minute
pretty heavy pretty raw

• One of my favorite hardcore bands:

Got to see them last year at the underworld.

Another favorite:

• My friend said 'for £20 I expect to see Eric Allen rise from the grave'. Enough with the reunions already.

£20 plus £2.75 booking fee plus £2.25 transaction fee, and tickets only available online, so unavoidable. So that is really £25.

Too old too cold, by Darkthrone, is one hell of a song.

• cant say im into gold kids, was into have hearts first album a few years back but dont really do anything for me now
far better bands out there than them two
