Similar discussion was had in another thread, hence why people were considering non-headphon options, I've gone witha mini Marshall amp atm.
They look awsome, but unfortunatly being the sound snob i am, what's the sound quality like?

If you're a real snob then you won't like it, quite a brittle sound, you could get the double stack and not have it turned up as loud and it wouldn't be quite so bad. It's definitely listenable and there's no horrible distortion or anything, it wouldn't be to good for listening to classical or jazz though, I just need it to play hard electronic or rock music which it does ok.

Put it this way, I use mine for decoration along with my mini Les Paul lighter...
Electric Wizzard! Not my cuppah but doom has a small place somewhere in my tastes.

I would listen to lots of thing but no earphones stay in my ears properly, the ones that dont fall out straight away the sound of the wind against them drowns out the music totally anyway.

I don't listen to music when riding b/c I am too worried about getting killed... but I imagine M83 would be great, especially at night.

Must be worth getting just to have a mini double stack....
Perhaps form over function can win sometimes!

Oh very.

I thinks its nuts to listen to music while you ride. I reckon I use my ears at least as half as much as I use my eyes, for things coming up behind me and particularly when I'm coming up to a junction for approaching traffic left and right. Important sense for me
But fair dos, each to their own
always use your eyes, not your ears, sound can play trick on you.

never a truer word said. very insightful ed , as your hearings not great.
Sound can completely bounce of any hard flat surface, its totally deceptive and should never be relied upon. You can hear something coming from your rear left, when its actually your right just bouncing of a building.

In the Cold I'm Standing sounds perfect for that.

So glad you asked this so I didn't have to. Reply left me none the wiser though.

I'm with Jimmy Fingers, I never listen to any music when I am walking, riding etc. I find I get really disorientated without hearing what is going on around me.

I'm the same; I have to be securely strapped into a large heavy chair before I can listen to music, birdsong or even the flapping of a moth's wings. My social life is severely limited.
