  • Do any of you listen to music while you're riding in the city?

    If so what?

  • Papa Roach - deffo get's me motivated

  • Prodigy, DJ Shadow, Kings of Leon, Cake, Eels

  • Prodigy, pendulum, anything fast paced

  • Breakcore mixes, jungle mixes, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley (good anti road rage music)

  • So mostly fast stuff?
Basically this was an excuse to bring up shoegaze..anyone listen to it? I find it's a great soundtrack for cruising.

  • No music for me, it makes me feel weird when I ride!

  • Fast music is for when your late (which i always am),
everything else is good for a cruise.

  • crimewave by crystal castles has been my riding song o' the year

  • Flexitones
    BT
    DJ Sparro

  • Leftover Crack, Gallows, Diana Ross & the Supremes and Robert Johnson

  • QOTSA, anything from the Mash SF soundtrack is always a winner for me, Muse of course....anything really depends on mood and type of ride.

Not trying to stop you have a conversation about riding with music but there is a good music thread that has developed almost into a battle style.

  • QOTSA, anything from the Mash SF soundtrack is always a winner for me,

Personaly that would invoke the pavalovian response of sending me to sleep.

  • I thinks its nuts to listen to music while you ride. I reckon I use my ears at least as half as much as I use my eyes, for things coming up behind me and particularly when I'm coming up to a junction for approaching traffic left and right. Important sense for me

But fair dos, each to their own

  • The Prodigy get me in the mood in central London.

Similar discussion was had in another thread, hence why people were considering non-headphon options, I've gone witha mini Marshall amp atm.
