Just Gideon Coe for me please. I like Mark Riley's music choices but him and his delivery, non.

So happy to be listening to the TDF special without cuntyballs ruining it.

in the days of cost cutting at the bbc it's seems a bit odd they're doubling up their workforce and wage costs, maconey and ratcliffe are another pair that grate, deb grant and tom ravenscroft seem to be battling to talk over each other too at the end of every record. have stopped listening to r.6 almost entirely just a year after buying my digital radio and listening for the first time. just don letts and keris matthews on a sunday are bearable now to my ears

wonder if it's the bbc's attempt to get one of each pair of presenters to resign so they don't have to pay out any redundancies.

Back on track... tonight's Artist in Residence with the Manics singer was so good that I had to shazam the first 2 tracks he played. thumb up from me

yeah some of the one off shows are quite good, guest dj's with a variety of music that differs to the regular staff

Been tuned in, this hour is a bit Radio 3, i had to check the station hadn't been changed mischievously. Why couldn't Riley & Coe have had this slot too?

A good six+ months after a router change I finally bothered to reconnect the internet radio... I've never had so much radio joy. . It's been there for four years and TV broke three weeks ago but now I ask , forget the TV, is £370 alright to spend on another radio - and use the big speakers

Setting up a BBQ in the garden, bring the radio out and put 6 on, first track up is Martina Topley-Bird, followed by The Divine Comedy covering QOTSA. 6 can still pull it out of the bag at times.

Giles Peterson has just started a run of 5 Hip Hop special (pre-recorded) programmes one decade at a time.
Saturday's show started off with the 70s with the right dose of funk/groove/conscious.
Worth a listen if only for the playlist. (And catch Cymande live in session!)

I've been extremely enjoying this latest run of Ravenscroft-less shows with Deb on her own - didn't realise how irritating he actually is until recently. I hope he's busy more often.

The 50th anniversary Hip Hop shows have been pretty good... the 80's played a lot of P Funk and Electro... 90's was good but missed loads of big-hitters... not listened to the last couple of weeks as hip hop sucked from 2000 onwards

Good call on these hiphop shows people - about to embark on a long flight and have d/led all 4 shows and their linked mixes for a bit of inflight entertainment!

If you use Windy, and view wind at 10km high, you can view the jet stream. If we're North of the jet stream the weather is shite, if we're South of it the weather is good.
