For the record BDW - you are a fahkin'ardcore gourmet and I respect that. Immensely.

  • Polo bike fails... have been reduced massively since we have switch balls.
The attitude that you need a beater or something strong and tough is not really that relevant anymore.

The balls are lighter, softer and smaller... ie less damaging the downside it leads to a quicker game on the bike and speed of the ball. Getting hit on a fleshy bit is ok... on the bone sucks. Bike pile ups seem to be of the same frequency, also kinda depends who you play with (their style...bill.... hassan, aply skootas list here) can lead to a heavier in contact game. which to be fair is fun and can improve your bike handling skills. If you need a bit of chain to replace out let me know i've got soem bit and bobs.

but come on by play a game its not scary...its fun.

    Ray

ps i have your tee. see you tonight.

if I play polo like I play football (or infact ride a bike) I will be contributing to bike pile-ups... When i was a kid I played football, american football, rugby and basketball... all in pretty much the same way if you get my drift!

But after what you said I will almost certainly have a go at joining in... need to get a whole new chain, but thanks for the offer... just a case of getting the time to get to somewhere that will do 1/8 (suprisingly evans in tower hill don't)... any recomendations for places that will be open at 5.15+time to get from towerhill?

    Talking of time, what time?

Bring on the end of the day.

  • evans london bridge sram 1/8 got one from there before.
maybe try onyourbike on tooley st.

    7ish eta.

    Ray

Top Job Shins.... Thanks mate - you're doing a great job!

  • yo! Good drop yesterday hope everyones still happy with their tees. ;)

    on my list for today:
Object, this is a maybe i know.
    B.D.W
    the leader.
prav... dont know if your gonna be there but i'll bring it anyway.

see you in the appropriate places.

  • Thanks for coming to souths yesterday... ostensibly just to deliver the t's..

still feel a bit too guilty to wear it till I get to actually play! But that will be fixed soon...

  • there seems to be a lot of poloengers with tshirts

  • will there e a re-print?

  • the female t?

Not bad! Ta Ray. At least the arm holes are the same size on each side, haha.

It comes up quite large - I had a Female small and it's quite loose on me but reasonably short in the body. It does cover skin/midriff though, ie: it comes to the top hip, no lower than the waistband of my jeans, which are low rise.

  • New Order-08 12 18

    1. Fresh - M&C - Medium
    2. Ali and Jo - one small and one medium not too fussed which one's which. of either design

add yo name to da list. must reach 25 of one design to be able to print.

  • Wouldn't a poloenger be a messenger that plays polo?

My previous idea was a fakolo, but having thought about it maybe a fauxlo rolls off the tongue a bit more...

i think Softmint is more apt

  • 'fauxlo' if you're french or 'TicTac'

  • I've got a french passport, does that count as french?
(seriously, other than the passport I'm not very french... can't even speak it...)

But I like tictac/softmint more... genius...

By the way you may want to change the subject line?
