I picked up these Grunge ones from Tokyo Fixed Gear some time back, and they are excellent quality.

They also appear to be sold under another name by Bobbin

I think Rapha should start making tools.
And how often do people use the ball end bits - ie is it worth having?
Cheers.
I'd says yes, because it allowed you to tighten certain bolts that are a little tricky to access normally.
Not that I don't value Ed's opinion, but can anyone else verify how useful the ball end ones are?

I've used the ball ends on mine enough to make me pleased I have them.

Use these and no others
Bondhus Corporation of the USA was founded by a toolmaker, John Bondhus. In 1964 Bondhus invented the ball end hex/allen key or Balldriver®. Their stated aim is to produce the finest quality hand tools available and they back this up with an unconditional lifetime warranty. Bondhus hex/allen keys are some of the best in the industry.

Thanks.
Now I just have to re-convince myself that having £14.45 is better than having coloured allen keys.

I cant always read nut size by eye anyway. It's often a guess, so it's not a biggie I don't think.

Blimey I just realised I had it for two years, talk about bang for your buck.
Ok, you go first.
WTF Ed, that's priceless. You kill me. I have Allen keys that were free that I've had for over ten.
Plus I have this duffle that I've worn for two Winters now, talk about bang for your buck!
-
• #71
yep.
at £50 a set, they've probably cost you a pound a go in those two years.

the ball ends are great for AFTER you have loosened them, swap over then just twist the remaining out, or twist in THEN tighten with the business end.

• #73
so Ed is talking bollox as per usual
-
• #74
In other words, the ball-end is good for twizzling but the normal end offers a much better purchase.
-
• #75
Bang for your buck you might even say.

£40, actually not too bad when you compared it to shop selling them at £75.
