I bought a front Planet X 52mm carbon clincher on a whim the other week, but have decided the money would be better spent on other bike things. I paid £120 (from Planet X, used but perfectly true) and now has a new long valve inner tube and a used Rubino Pro 23c on. Would anyone be interested in the lot for £125, or wheel only for £120?

Is it the same size as that one? What sort of condition? How much are you asking?
Cheers.
Edit: Also what size wheels?

Anyone have a campag BB tool? I'd rather go get a tool than carry a frame about.
This thing:

I think Betty needed one of those recently, not sure who she borrowed it off though...
-
• #5840
I've got one you could borrow- like this -
You'd need to come up to Crumpsall to pick it up though.
-
• #5841
Drew, I have one of these Park tools thingys. You are more than welcome to borrow it if its the right one.

Today, Young Will is the winner of the bullshit tool competition! But thank you for the offer.

Anyone got any 26" slicks going cheap, about a 1.3 ish, kojak or durano or similar?
-
• #5844
Have you worn out the detonators already?
-
• #5845
One of them, the centre strip of rubber on the front is coming away, I'd guess from all the turning and stopping starting use. I've glued it back on a bit but don't fancy risking a euro adventure on it. Rear is still fine and they have done six months which ain't that bad.
-
• #5846
I was thinking of using them to replace my kojaks, when they wear out. I've had six months too but there's still plenty of rubber left. I guess I'll stick with kojaks or duranos then.
-
• #5847
The single compound ones won't have the same problem, it's just where the central strip is stuck down, although I guess they won't be quite as wonderfully grippy in the corners.

• #5848
Like the ones you get for free from any LBS?

Hi all,
I'm selling a brand new cardboard bike box, the dimension is 58*9*38'.
The original price is £19.5, now I'm asking for £10.
Collection only, before Tuesday.
Thanks. -

WTF its a cardboard box.
Stop using up all the good oxygen and be quiet
^ 27.0 is 400mm long and will exchange for a couple of beers.
I think I might actually have a black 27.2, 350mm, slightly nicer (and also unused I think) but it's missing the original top nut, so has an M10 steel hex bolt on there, keeping it all together in the parts box.
Both cheap single bolt/splined 2-part clamp/top nut-type posts.
Will have a dig around, see what I have, and post pics tonight.
