Also looking out for a saddle, nice road one for around a tenner though would consider paying more if reeeeelly nice. Mostly do quite long hilly rides so something appropriate please.
I have a madison prime for sale, only used for about 100 miles, few oils marks which will wash off but otherwise perfect. Paid £25, would like £12

Hoping to be there for 6:30, but maybe say 7 to be on the safe side, usually finish about 10 depending on how quickly it gets dark.

A friend of mine who is female (about 5'4" tall) would like to acquire a bike. She is on a very tight budget, so cheap beats quality. Does anyone have any bikes they wanna get rid of for say sub £50? Thanks,
AndyRaleigh Shopper any good?

Raleigh Shopper any good?
I'll ask, but I just read on facebook that she got a free bike. I'll see if she wants the shopper instead, but honestly, its likely she'll stick with the free bike even if its shit!
How much were you thinking for it? -

Shopper's are so 2014. Get in before the trend catches up. I got 2 shoppers for my house mates and I have a request for a third from a friend of my house mate and that's in the space of 3 weeks!

40 for the shopper, bought it here for that it now has longer seatpost and nicer saddle. We need to n-1 it as it's not being ridden at all these days.

Anyone able to help me with a fork problem?
I'm after a 1" threadless fork with 230mm of steerer. Alloy or carbon. To go on my carbon giant cadex.
I've been looking for about 6 months but cant find any without spending £££££
I'm gutted as I sold a perfect pair of alloy unpainted forks just before I acquired the frame. Just goes to show that it's worth NOT clearing out your parts bin too often!
Anyway, if you can help let me know. -

edit - I must learn to read.
assuming 27" wheel one would look daft but if you're desperate it's yours

Wanted:
cheap 700c front wheel, might pay a little more for durable quality wheel.
single cross top brake lever, preferably in black but not too worried.
rear brake caliper, or a short bolt from one so I can use my spare front caliper.

I've got a black/silver Dia Compe Tech 99 - £5 collected/delivered in South Manchester/city centre?
-
• #4941
Thanks Richard but I'm looking for a cross top style really as there is very little room on the bars.
-
• #4942
Unless you're making a fine distinction of which I'm not aware, it is cross top!
-
• #4943
Cross tops are the ones designed to work with a break in the outer cable, but you can terminated the cable at the lever to use them on their own. That Dia compe is just a flat bar lever.

They also have a very small clamp area, shortish lever and are basicly designed to go right in the middle of drop bars. Basicly meaning I can run them on the flat part of some bullbars close to the middle and still tape a decent amount.

I see, thanks both.

Got a Black Rainbow Project Saddle Bag for sale now my tour is over and I'm home.
It has signs of use and 1 cable tie has come off but it is obviously replaceable... Other than scratches though the bag is ready for another tour!
If you're interested I can provide pictures.Thought I'd offer it up in Manchester before the rest. £90!
Ta,
Pete
Can bring you a couple to polo tomorrow night if you can pick them up there.
