Does anyone have a long adjustable spanner/hulk strength I could lend?
My bottom bracket refuses to move with the short spanner I have, it's like I was on roids when I put it in.

I could do with borrowing an ISIS BB tool if anyone has one? Managed to test fit it by hand but now can't get it out to send this wrong-sized one back...

Emyr, I think mine is shimano/isis but it needs a spanner with it

The ISIS one looks quite shalow, not sure if the splines are the same but it's worth a try. Got 30 + 32 mm sockets, hoping that'll work instead of an adjustable.

It has 20 splines and if it's a hollow axle bb I shove a QR through to keep it in place.

what i do is get one of these

get one with a big enough end, thread it over the end of teh current too short spanned, and it extends the leverage

little bodge but if you get one that fits ok, you golden

At home I used to have a length of pipe to do the leverage lark.
Even doing a kickstart type thing with the current fails miserably I'm just not heavy enough. Or it could just be seized and I need a bench vice.

Amar / Emyr - Really sorry for not having gotten back to you guys about the bits. I've had something of a nightmare week for a number of reasons. I've now taken photos of everything I listed and put comments with each of the pictures.

Amar has first dibs on the crank and rear wheel. Emyr you have second dibs on the rear wheel if Amar is not interested. Nobody has expressed any interest in the front wheel, bars or grips yet so they are still up for first dibs.

I've had a look at the wheels today and they seem to be in better shape than I remember. It seems I got round to repacking the hubs just before I stopped using them a couple of years ago and the bearings seem to run smoothly.
