AHA! WRONG!
I wish I was little bit taller,
I wish I was a baller
I wish I had a girl who looked good
I would call her
I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat
and a '64 ImpalaSO THERE...
im aware of that, just my favorite bit is the "I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat
And a '64 Impala" bit. -

56cm Beater Frame & Wheels
I have posted this in Classifieds For Sale but in a reply in the thread someone suggested I put in on here too.
I have got a reasonable light frame 56cm seat tube from centre to top and 56cm top tube from centre to centre, I don't know the make as it has been repainted, it has long horzonital drop outs and takes a 27mm seat post, it comes with a pair of 700c wheel. I'm after £25 and I will be at the South Manchester Classic & Veterans Cycle Jumble Parrs Wood Rural Studies Center on the 27th March
PM me if you are interested

Hmmm...
I might be interested in this, it's quite pretty for a booze-house-bike.I was thinking of heading down to the jumble, is this the first South MCR one...?
Anyone got any idea how many stalls/how busy it'll be...? -

Varies I think, I went down to the last one and seemed fairly quiet, it's geared a bit more to yer enthusiast what likes to restore vintage bikes, so stuff on sale is mainly really old.

need some second-hand 1" threaded forks with a short steerer and plenty of thread.
**
anything** will do as long as they're straight. -

I have the ones that were on the bike that Si has of mine, if he didn't give them to someone else that needed them? maybe Ste can brign them to polo for you tomorrow?
-
• #1194
i was at his house yesterday, i dont know which ones you mean, he showed me some black fuji forks but there wasnt enough thread on it and steerer was too long
-
• #1195
they sound perfect... take them to GBH or Bike Boutique and they can cut them down and put a thread on them for you.....

both fuji and woodys old ones stearer too long/not enough thread
said it maybe cheaper and easier to get some crappy forks from gbh/BB than bother getting them re-threaded
-
• #1197
yeah when i needed to get some more thread cut on some of mine in Brighton the guy just gave me a pair of old forks, because he didn't want to have to bother with the effort of cutting new thread! old forks can't be more than £10 or sumin

I just got a used fire eye handlebars and casket stem. I dont think ill be able to get use to the longer width or the brake positioning though. anyone intrested in buying the handlebars at £8.00 or possibly the stem at £8 if I cant get some narrower 22.2mm risers. Also, anyone have any 22.2mm risers!?
-
• #1199
might well take both off you... what length is the stem? and which bars are they..?
can you bring to polo...? i have some 25.4mm risers cut to about 48cm with metal bar ends & old grips if you're interested..?
