At last, progress!
3 months ago I discovered I was a pussy due to my inability to scale Highgate and Muswell Hill and promptly mocked over on MT. After 3 months couriering I'm now zooming up Pentonville road on 48/14, I might not be a pussy for much longer Hoorah!
Well glad I am not the only 48/14 in London.

HTFU, you're doing it wrong, etc. :)

I guess I could dig out a 48 and go up to 17 on the back, seeing as I've got them lying around. No idea where the 48 is, mind.

I'm thinking about going up from 48/19 (66.4) back to 48/17 (74.3). If there's going to be ice around it actually makes sense to gear up, your back wheel is less likely to slip.

Well glad I am not the only 48/14 in London.
'Kin ell...That's starter track gearing surely?
I want pics so I don't even bother trying to keep up with the both of you on a nice bit of flat.

45/19 = get aerobic and work your pedalling efficiency

It's always blue too, though I've never found out why.
I think it's because uric acid in your sweat bleaches it.
Actually that's not strictly true, zooming up the first half then with grim determination slogging it up the second, but I'm happy with that ;)
