  • Yeah, would be much better if people died and stuff, right!?

Oh, that's quite possible if EDL clashes with "ethnic" yoofs without any police presence.

  • Kicking off in Leicester. Lets hope it isn't Beaumont Leys types

it's the return of the mack, it is

  • "We'll stay open, if they steal some books they might learn something" - Waterstones employee in Manchester referring to the youths rioting

    can but hope

  • Sky news: Star-burst = riot coverage filter? Makes those flashing lights extra exciting

  • Ok so is it time to deglamorise it? Most of what's happening in Manchester this evening for example is sporadic 'antisocial behaviour'. It's all getting reported as us and them stuff on the news, but there's loads of little bored chancers just popping along for a laugh.

  • That woman who owns the posh shop in Ealing is getting annoying!

It isn't really. Kids on MTBs acting as spotters, yer more professional class of criminal turfing up and cleaning out stores apparently.

  • 42" LCD are even £30 a pop in the 'hood.
    True story.

    I'll take 3

  • That woman who owns the posh shop in Ealing is getting annoying!

Just said the exact same thing.

  • *I took 3

  • Co worker sent me this text about Evans;

Croydon was burnt down, Chalk Farm ransacked, Central Workshop and Clapham looted. Heard different things about the West End stores and unsure what's gospel!
To be honest, I could care less about the company's poxy shops and the company's poxy bikes! They are a huge conpany and I lose little sleep over individuals hurting huge companies - the opposite happens on a daily basis. They're insured, anyway - even the customers will be compensated!
But, to continue the theme of companies vs. the individual, I doubt Evans will compensate staff, even though their insurance would cover it. People working at shut/trashed stores may not even get paid!

  • One of the chaps at work was saying that he saw three car loads of kit going into one of the houses on his road- they were using an old Astra as a shuttle from the high street back and forth.

    +1 how many times?

  • Co worker sent me this text about Evans;

I'd put the odds of staff getting paid for work at the shut branches at about 5%

  • what/where is it?

    footasylum, manchester arndale

  • I'd put the odds of staff getting paid for work at the shut branches at about 5%

    Wot!? How?! No way.

members getting stopped in cars over near Eltham[/ame]

  • Bloody hell, chaos again. I'm going to open a "robust" red.

Middle class comment of the day?!

  • Just counted 9 police vans in 5 minutes headed up Lee High Road in Eltham direction. Something is going on out there.

Farrkk Looks like police are making a stand at Yorkshire Grey roundabout to stop them getting into town

  • You, for one, are the type of person I would rather not know.

likewise. but rest assured i will be eating your bony liberal ass if this turns into a 'The Road' type of scenario

  • MASS HYSTERIA!i!

  • Slap that Manc cunt just on Sky!

  • Wot!? How?! No way.

Hey, they might do, but none of the places I've worked at for doing shift work for minimum wage would have done.

  • Source?

Someone's "mate". I don't know the someone guy. I have so many blogs opened and tweets, that can't really tell.
