oh dear.
I dont understand why everyone got so angry at Gary, He didn't bring MOTD (etc) to a standstill. They all went on strike against the BBC essentially.
The BBC got shown its arse, was brilliant! He isn't acting entitled at all, being stubborn isn't always a non-desirable personality trait.
One day I hope people challenge why the BBC has so many charity drives and doesn't just, you know, make their own donations? -

wow.
I hit the same kind of car with a forklift very recently. At the front too.
The damage was cosmetic (some sensors on his dash but afaik it was only paint), he was going very fast there.Sorry for the triple post

Not sure if you're serious on this:
"One day I hope people challenge why the BBC has so many charity drives and doesn't just, you know, make their own donations?"
Or just have no understanding of UK charity law.

But attacking something in international airspace is the kind of thing that lands everyone deep in the shit.
They shot down a passenger jet with almost 300 people on and the world just kind of shrugged its shoulders

• #81582
Which they are you talking about? Both US and Russia have done that.
-
• #81583
Very good, I was referring to the Russians on this one. I find the fact Igor Girkin still has a relatively high profile on twitter very wtf given he was charged with being responsible. Guess it doesn't breach terms of service.
-
• #81584
True. I stand very corrected.
Although it was reported at the time that it wasn’t immediately clear who was responsible. And then it took two years to reach the conclusion of the investigation. Lack of immediacy does tend to temper any reaction. (That and the plane not flying under a US flag, probably)

Another slightly different example is Turkey shooting down a Russian jet that entered its airspace by a couple of km a couple of years ago on the Syrian border. Russia just grumbled a bit and then world carried on. It's surprising what you can get away with with limited consequences.

Re the SNP implosion..
Murrell expected to resign “within days or weeks”.
-
• #81587
Both US and Russia have done that.
Do you have details on the US one?

UBS buys CS.. Interesting to see how this impacts the short term credit market tomorrow. Another inflationary wiggle?
-
• #81597
and how will it affect the Q36.5 sponsorship?

Touche.. the crux of the matter.. I have no idea (and I doubt anyone else does too). I can only suggest that you contact customer service (customer.service@creditsuisse.ch).
