One thing he said made me think though, he said Duggan's head was blown off and it reminded me of an earlier report quoting the family's distress at having to identify the body. I wonder if there is a link and I wonder if that element has distressed him further?

Just been to Leytonstone asda and back through Clapton to Bethnal Green, all very very quiet, not like London at all. It's all kicking off in Manchester now and I drove past a load of Manchester Police vans in Clapton, oops.

Police just performed an aggressive and seemingly random stop and search outside my place, after smashing the poor bloke into the wall, interrogating him and throwing his personal effects all over the pavement they let him go. PCS van also rocked up with a smashed rear window...

I thought stop and searching was now illegal unless a license for a specific area and time was taken out?

Now as in today? A stop and search was what started people kicking off on Mare St yesterday (apparently).*
