Insanely busy work day and I went straight from that to a computer game to wind down. Took the headphones off a few minutes ago, turned on the news and "The new King will be called King Charles III."
Back to the computer game, I think.

I'm slow on the news... should we be making a banner saying thanks to the Queen for her support of fixie skidders everywhere?

Is “minor bumps” a euphemism for paedophilia?
No minor bumps in the road is whacking the daughter in law.
Noncing is a faux-pas

We weren't allowed anywhere near it.

They're in London. Walked past a load of cars in Highgate down a few weeks ago.
Not all SUVs though, lots of normal cars too. Even the small cars and hybrids, etc. 🤷

The UK is my adopted country, but I didn’t think this would affect me as much as it has.
Generally feeling a bit down, but not quite sure why.
Not looking to Charles III coins and bank notes maybe. -

Personally I can’t wait for my “King Brian” Brexit 50p

No! Does he go creeping around Balmoral?
We had to behave perfectly because we were guests of one of Charles'
employees. She had the use of the cottage as a perk of her job. (Marketing for his biscuits etc.)I did manage to be offensive to Philip once. I had a holiday job ferrying bigwigs around in a Range Rover at Cowes regatta. There was an Admiral in the back of the car, who hated Philip like all the Navy did apparently. Philip was walking in the road in front of us, so I overtook him very deferentially at a snail's pace. The Admiral had a bit of a snort and said 'Put Your Foot Down, Driver'. He may have been drunk. So I thought 'Fuck It' and flattened the accelerator, leaving a furious, scowling Philip in a cloud of exhaust.
If you liked that one...
